Christine Brown Shares 1st Valentine’s Day Mood Without Kody?
Christine Brown has had no problem celebrating holidays happily without her former husband, Kody. However, this is her first Valentine’s Day officially divorced and out of state. She could have easily stayed away from social media yet that is not her style at all. The businesswoman and mom of six shared tips on how to have a good holiday as a single woman.
Christine Brown Holidays Alone
Even when Christine and Kody were married, the relationship had gotten to a point where she was doing her own thing. The pandemic really showcased Kody’s controlling side, one that wives Janelle and Christine did not support. Yes, they wanted their family to be together as one but they did not want to be under a dictatorship. He felt that because he was the only one going from house to house, everyone should abide by his rules. In Christine’s case, she had children in other states who she wanted to see.
She also had a teenage daughter who desperately needed surgery and Janelle’s family who she was very close to. As Janelle’s son Gabriel pointed out, Christine practically raised them. To not be able to gather was like being without air. After Kody and Robyn got a nanny for their two young children. Christine felt they had crossed a line as her own children were not even allowed over. Kody then presented the wives with the nanny protocols so they could gather for the 2020 holidays.
In the end, Janelle and Christine chose to go to Utah for Thanksgiving. Christine’s daughter, Aspyn was hosting the holiday. Since Christine and Kody had a lot of strain, she wanted to go where they were welcomed. Once the marriage was officially over, holidays were celebrated in Utah and Christine could not have been happier. She did matching pajamas and was with her granddaughter, Avalon. Now, for her first Valentine’s Day as a truly single woman, she is embracing her freedom with a message.
Valentine’s Day Love
Unlike her former sister wife, Meri, Christine Brown did not send herself flowers. She did however post a picture of herself on Instagram wearing a floral suit jacket. Underneath, she wore a salmon outfit and was beaming. Her whole mood was taking a break from the world and focusing on family. For viewers of Sister Wives, they will know she relied heavily on the love of her kids. She mentioned she and her kids would often go to Utah because they wanted to be where they felt loved.
Followers loved her message and noticed how great Christine looked. “This is how beautiful freedom looks,” one commented. Another added: “They say a picture is worth 1000 words. you for sure are glowing and you look so happy.” She has been consistently glowing as she is involved in both LulaRoe and Plexus while raising her children in Utah.
