‘Y&R’ Eric Braeden Shares Behind-The-Scenes Fun With Fans

Actor Eric Braeden shared a series of photos on social media, giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at The Young and the Restless. Doing so, he was able to share praise for some of his cast-mates. Fans naturally praised the photos, even getting a few responses from Braeden, in turn.

Braeden Shared Photos Of Himself With Other Cast Members

Braeden is a German-born actor who has been working as an actor since the 1960s. However, for many fans, his breakout role was that of Victor Newman in The Young and the Restless.

Starting the role in 1980, Braeden’s portrayal of the character quickly proved popular. In fact, the character was originally intended to appear on the show for 26 weeks, only for Braeden to continue on in the role over the decades. The role would also earn him a Daytime Emmy Award for Lead Actor in a Drama Series in 1998.

On X, the actor shared a series of photos of himself with his cast-mates. In one, he was seen standing with Melody Thomas Scott, who plays Nikki, and Amelia Heinle, who plays Victoria. Braeden and Scott smiled while Heinle was laughing on her phone. The photo’s caption read, “A little break while filming.”

Fans appreciated the post, with one user writing that “You are still the star of Y & R. You and your TV family look great !!” Braeden made sure to thanks the user for their kind words in the comments.

Fans Suspect The Images Are A Hint Of What’s To Come

In another post, Braeden shared a photo of himself alongside Bryton James, who plays Devon. In the caption, he wrote, “A great colleague! Chip of the old block, KRISTOFF.” As noted by Soap Hub, this was in reference to Neil Winter, Devon’s adopted father, who was played by the late Kristoff St. John.

In a third post, Braeden shared a photo of himself with Christel Khalil, who plays Lily, and Melissa Ordway, who play Abby. He praised them in the comment, writing, “Both such good actresses!!”

Fans were quick to thank Braeden for giving them such a special behind-the-scenes look at the show. As one user wrote, “The ability to act every day in a Soap and make it work, make it real, is serious talent.”

Some fans began to suspect they were getting a glimpse at an important upcoming event in the series. For example, some, noting how well-dressed the characters were, suspected the photos were hinting at a future wedding.
