‘American Idol’ Fans Notice Carrie Underwood Seemed ‘Off’
Carrie Underwood has grown to become an integral part of American Idol, going from contestant to judge. Fans have even seen her perform on the show. That said, some fans are starting to wonder if she is really that comfortable in her new role on the show.
Carrie Underwood Has Lit Up The American Idol Stage, Both As A Contestant & A Judge
Underwood’s big break was appearing as a contestant on American Idol’s fourth season. She ultimately became the season’s winner, with Bo Bice as the season’s runner-up.
Since then, Underwood would have a prominent career in music, becoming one of the best-selling music artists in history. However, she has not forgotten her American Idol roots.
In the show’s twenty-third season, Underwood would go on to become one of the show’s judges. Since then, fans have seen her sit alongside Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan and even continue to perform on the show.
The singer has especially made sure to offer a few throwbacks to fans. In a recent episode, she has performed “Alone” on the show, around 20 years after performing it on the show as a contestant.
Underwood has made an impression on viewers, with some thinking she’s the most honest of the three judges. However, some, even fans, have also noticed something “off” about her as of late.
Taking to social media, one fans wrote, “I’m a Carrie fan… but.. did anyone else feel she was SO OFF last night? Not even in her critiques but her body language, mannerisms, and communication? I couldn’t put my finger on it but need to know if I’m alone in this!”
Some fans took to the comments to note they’ve noticed similar issues with Underwood. One fan noted, “I don’t know. I can see something in her face . It’s almost like she’s not really happy. Like not just having a bad day unhappy.”
Fans Have Been Sharing Their Own Theories On Why Underwood Might Seem Uncomfortable On The Show
Another fan replied to this, sharing, “I read that she was not happy being away from her family. And that she would’ve be doing another year.”
Some fans were mixed about the idea. One fan noted, “I’ve been a fan of Carrie since she was a contestant on American Idol. I think that her interviews over the last few years have had a general sense of, not exactly unhappiness, but unease or (never on stage performing though).” However, the fan also shared, “I actually think that she looks like she’s having more fun, and seems less serious/more relaxed, than usual on American Idol.”

- “100% she looked super distracted and disinterested. Like she was either extremely disappointed or thinking about something else the whole time.”

Thank God we have Carrie Underwood!!! She has brought in many new audiences!! The world needs more Spiritually!! We need to be united on this and take it seriously!!! Especially for Our Youth that may have no other opportunity for the needed exposure to Jesus!! The Easter program was THE BEST EVER AMERICAN IDOL!!!!!❤️❤️❤️
