HGTV ‘Home Town’ Favorite Still Missing, Fans Want Him Back
Home Town has reached its ninth season, with fans continuing to watch Ben and Erin Napier take on various projects. Recently, the two even shared a sneak peek on Instagram. However, since then, many fans are still missing someone and want to see him return.
Erin & Ben Napier Recently Teased A New Home Town Episode On Social Media
Ben and Erin Napier are known for hosting Home Town for HGTV. With the series premiering back in 2016, fans have also seen the show expanded in a few spin-offs, like Home Town Takeover.
Through these shows, viewers have come to know Ben and Erin and their family. However, there are also a few other figures on the show that have since become popular with fans.
Recently, in a shared post, Ben and Erin Napier gave a preview of an upcoming episode of Home Town. Paired with a video, the caption read, “TONIGHT on Home Town, you’ll get a tree house, Tupelo artist @amyelizabethcrabb visits me, and wallpaper gets a nice laundry room moment.”
“This is for the lovers of traditional style, blue and white, and a little bit of pattern. Watch with us tonight at 8/7 ct on @hgtv or stream tomorrow on @discoveryplus and @streamonmax.”
As shared by Country Living, the episode revolved around Ben and Erin helping their friends’ family move from the Laurel, Mississippi suburb to the countryside. This way, the would have more outdoor space, complete with a treehouse for the kids.
Some Fans Might Mix Mike Up With Another ‘Floor Guy’ For The Show
While watching the clip, however, fans also claimed they might have seen a familiar face. As one fan noted, “Was that Mike the floor guy in tonight’s show???”
Fans may remember Mike Husers as one of the various home experts featured on Home Town. Also known as “Mike the Floor Guy,” he had been a fan-favorite thanks to his appearances on the show. However, Mike hasn’t appeared much on the show in recent years, last appearing during the sixth season premiere.

Responding to previous fan questions, Erin herself shared on social media, “Guys, I know y’all miss Mike. We do too! He’s on a leave of absence caring for a family member with a long-term illness. We’re in good hands though with our new hardwood restoration experts Terry and Mike (!) You’re gonna love them!”

The publication noted, however, that they “personally didn’t spot him in the new episode.” As they noted, some fans might have mixed Mike up with “Mr. David,” another “floor guy” who has also been a long-time expert on the show. Taking to the comments, many fans shared excitement at possibly spying Mike in the video, as well as commenting on the renovation in general. David himself also received quite a few mentions. Some comments included:
