‘Below Deck Med’ Mid-Season Trailer, Will There Be Firings?
Captain Sandy Yawn seems reasonably laid back in Season 9, and so far, Chef Johnathan survived being fired. However, the mid-season trailer for Below Deck Med shows that the Bravo star might dump him dockside. Other spoilers reveal the season’s far from over yet with more drama.
Captain Sandy Might Have To Fire The Chef
Chef Johnathan Shillingford‘s been under fire because clients complained about him serving spicy food that they didn’t want. That wasn’t the end of him, although his boss hates it when clients complain. Food issues often bring headaches, and if the galley can’t cope, many people take flack, like the Chief Stew.
Captain Sandy Yawn got angry in a new teaser that Bravo dropped on X for the mid-season. This time, it wasn’t just a spice or two that annoyed guests. On Below Deck Med, it turned out that a client can’t eat seafood. As she explained to the captain, “I can’t eat raw seafood because it could kill me.” That came when she was served tuna carpaccio with pineapple caramel.
More Below Deck Med Spoilers For Season 9
The Bravo captain seemed frustrated with Chef Johnathan Shillingford. In her confessional, she said:
What the f—k? We could have killed her. I don’t have a choice, I have to fire him.
Other scenes revealed that Joe Bradley, who immediately made an NSFW comment on his arrival, is still with the crew. However, he’s also still very involved in his love triangle with Bri Muller and Ellie Dubaich. There’s an effort to make peace coming from Bri. But, she still wants a “hook-up” with him.
More People Threatened With Firing?
There’s a new 4th stew arriving, and that might make Bri or Ellie more vulnerable to firing. It’s not clear what happens when Carrie O’Neill arrives. If anything, she’s into a good time, which Joe might take advantage of. What Bravo fans do know from the trailer, is that someone else apart from Johnathan might lose their job. Captain Sandy Yawn once again spoke about “a fireable offense.”
That came not far from a scene where Aesha Scott was moving furniture around because the clients complained about the untidiness on the deck of the Mustique. Oh, and the vessel started taking on water and the crew quarters ended up flooded.
