A current Love After Lockup star is back behind bars and the new season is barely underway. So, who is it, what happened, and have they been able to make bail just yet? Current Love After Lockup Star Back Behind Bars, Why?

The Love After Lockup community never has a shortage of drama. Recently, show alum Derek Warner filed a restraining order against Monique Robinson. They had previously been engaged but that seemed to sour. Additionally, Kurtis King, who was a side character on the show, was also arrested so there must be something in the water. Now, the new season is underway and there are some carryovers from Love During Lockup like Shonta and True. Plus, LaTisha and Keith have returned once again but this may not bode well for them. However, they are not the ones in the hot seat despite LaTisha’s numerous legal issues.

As it turns out, Arthur has found himself in trouble again. He and his lady, Hope already had some issues on the show as she had been unfaithful when he was initially in prison. So, these are some things that they would have to work through to begin with. His biggest dealbreaker for their relationship is infidelity and has said he is out if she acts up again. Yet, what would happen if he found himself in trouble with the law as soon as he was released?

According to Starcasm, on May 17th, Arthur was booked for a misdemeanor count of Evading Arrest or Detention. Having a prior conviction of the same charge, it became a felony but his bond was relatively low, just $500. Then, on May 23rd, it got even worse when he was charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Possession of Firearm by a Felon, and Unlawful Carry of a Weapon with Felony Conviction. It appears Arthur is still in custody down in Texas after all of these incredible charges.

What’s Next?

Hope has not been mentioned in any of this but, as of now, Arthur’s next court date is set for Thursday, August 8th. The Love After Lockup star’s status will likely be displayed during the season finale. However, there could be a chance the couple will end up on Life After Lockup so the story could continue. This season already has some unexpected ups and downs. LaTisha and Keith Collier are supposed to be reunited but that does not appear to be happening. Per records, he is still locked up until early 2025. So, it will be interesting to see how this all plays out.
