YouTube star MrBeast has responded to allegations against his longtime collaborator, Ava Kris Tyson. The claims indicate that Tyson was involved in sexual grooming. While it took a little longer than some fans had hoped, MrBeast has denounced the allegations as “disgusting” and has begun to remove Ava from his company.

Here is what has happened and what MrBeast is doing about it.

Ava Kris Tyson Accused Of Sexual Grooming

Ava Kris Tyson was a collaborator with MrBeast. Grooming allegations rose last month against Tyson when a group of YouTubers accused Tyson of messaging a 13-year-old when she was 20. This led to people on social media examining Tyson’s past public messages between her and the minor. This includes references to “nude photos, sex and anime pornography.”

When the allegations arose, people on social media demanded that MrBeast take immediate action against Tyson. For her part, Tyson denies any claims of grooming and posted an apology for her online posts.

The minor in question also went onto social media and defended Tyson, saying all the posts were “edgy jokes” and in no way constituted grooming. “These videos are massive lies and twisting the truth,” the child said. “Ava never did anything wrong and just made a few edgy jokes. I was never exploited or taken advantage of.”

Interestingly, many people online began attacking Tyson when she announced she was transitioning. MrBeast has previously defended Tyson from the transphobic attacks. Tyson is a transgender woman.

MrBeast Takes Action Against Ava Kris Tyson

MrBeast (real name: Jimmy Donaldson) posted a message on that says he heard about the recent claims against Ava Kris Tyson and has taken action. He said he has hired “an independent third party to conduct a thorough investigation to ensure I have all the facts.” However, he has also taken steps to remove Ava from his company, his channel, and all association with “MrBeast.”

Ava Kris Tyson previously announced she was leaving the channel amidst the allegations against her. She regularly appeared on his channel, which has 305 million YouTube subscribers.

“I’ve seen enough online and taken immediate action to remove Ava from the company, my channel and any association with MrBeast,” MrBeast said. “I do not condone or support any of the inappropriate actions.”
