Maria Georgas Isn’t ‘Bachelorette’ Material, Says Franchise Alum
What’s next for Maria Georgas after Joey Graziadei sent her home? One franchise alum doesn’t think she’s Bachelorette material. Keep reading to find out why.
What’s Next For Eliminated Bachelor Contestant?
Maria Georgas is someone fans either love or love to hate. Her outspoken behavior earned her fans among viewers but didn’t earn her Joey Graziadei’s love.
After visiting the hometowns of each of his final four, Joey had a tough decision to make. Would he send Daisy Kent, Kelsey Anderson, Rachel Nance, or Maria Georgas home and continue pursuing the other three?
The pro tennis instructor sent Maria home, but some fans think he already made his decision about his future wife weeks ago. What’s next for Maria Georgas, who made a name for herself as a child actress?
It’s very likely that The Bachelor isn’t the last viewers see of her. Like any other rejected Season 28 contestant, she is presumably in the running for Bachelorette. But not everyone is on board with that idea.
Maria Georgas Isn’t Bachelorette Material
Many Bachelor Nation fans strongly root for Daisy Kent to be the next Bachelorette if she doesn’t end up with Joey. However, Maria Georgas has her share of fans who want her as the lead.
ABC officially announced that Season 21 of The Bachelorette will air this summer. Shortly afterward, the first-ever season of The Golden Bachelorette will air. But the network hasn’t named the lead for either spinoff just yet. At this point, it’s anyone’s game.
Bachelor Season 27 contestant Jill Chin expressed doubt on the Us Weekly podcast that Maria Georgas has what it takes to be Bachelorette. Why not? The alum said that the point of the show is to end in an engagement, and she’s just not sure Maria is there yet.
“It doesn’t seem like she really is ready now,” Jill said. She added, “The franchise is always thinking about longevity of a relationship in order for the show to work. They need an engagement. And I think people need to remember that.”
That doesn’t mean Jill Chin hates Maria Georgas. In her opinion, Maria is better suited for Bachelor In Paradise. “I think that if Paradise were going to be first, sure thing, she would run that beach like nobody’s business. I would love to see Maria in Paradise more than anybody else,” Jill said.
Unfortunately, BIP may not be returning this year. The network has yet to approve Season 10. However, there’s still time for the beachy dating show to get renewed. Fans shouldn’t lose hope.
