‘Bachelor In Paradise’ Saved With Hard Reset Or Is It Over?
Bachelor in Paradise fans adore the show because they get to see many of their favorite stars reappear after their seasons end. But, rumors suggest the cancellation of the ABC spinoff in 2024. While Ashley Iaconetti believes the poor success rate in Season 9 was an anomaly, salvaging the show might need a hard reset.
ABC Fans Hoped For A Golden Bachelor In Paradise
Rumors can often be shrugged off, but when they come from Reality Steve, most people think the outcome might be accurate. Actually, he’s seldom wrong about the ABC franchise. While he emphasized that the spinoff ending is just a rumor, he feels that 2024 won’t happen. Naturally, fans check for clues to show that it might not end.
After Golden Bachelor, fans started calling for a Golden Bachelor in Paradise. Additionally, they hope for a Golden Bachelorette. With a casting call out for another Golden Bachelor, that might not leave room for a renewal of the original BIP. After the disappointing season in 2023 and the massive ratings for Gerry Turner’s season, things look bleak for a renewal of BIP.

Saving BIPĀ With A Hard Reset
Some ever-hopeful fans want The Golden Bachelorette. But at the same time, they also hope that by some miracle, the execs at ABC give BIP another chance. On Reddit, options were discussed by the OP and in the comments.
…I think it still could work. Again with changes to producing…maybe removing the engagement aspect – where people are allowed to just leave in happy enduring relationships. Iād be overjoyed to watch my favorites return to the beach to date each other with new people coming down every week and people going home. That is drama in itself…
Plenty of other ideas arrived in the discussion. Hopefully, Bachelor in Paradise producers might see something and decide on a revamp.
- Iād love a hard reset. Change of scenery, all newbies to paradise, no elimination for at least a couple weeks. Maybe an opportunity to āwinā a rose to stay for another chance at love even if you donāt have a match. I want all the players to be less desperate to cling to one person right away. We need more dates, more date footage, compete for date cards.
- Ooo I like that idea of no elimination for a couple of weeks. Very 4TRR. Helps remove the need to couple up immediately, let people play the field a bit. And people donāt get used/hurt in the process.
- BRING BACK BACHELOR PAD! šš» I think it is still good for them to have a second-chance show with cast members from the main game. They need to completely rethink it in my opinion. There is too much competition with love island and perfect match. The formula is broken- everyone wants to find someone and stick it out to the end to āwinā so no one will actually date and be open minded. The producing has been atrocious. They need a new concept!
