Who is Emma Grede on Shark Tank?
This week on Shark Tank, Emma Grede has come on board as a guest shark for the Friday night episode. The reality TV series released a video on Instagram to show Emma’s experience when she was advising the entrepreneur who started the luxury lunchbox brand, Modern Picnic. Her advice was good and it will be interesting to see if she ends up biting on any of the products this week.
Emma Grede is a British entrepreneur and fashion designer. She is the CEO and co-founder of the denim company Good American and a founding partner of Skins. She is also the co-founder of Safely. Emma was born in East London and started working odd jobs as a teenager while dreaming of one day joining the fashion industry. Emma bought magazines like Vogue and Elle as she decided to make her dream a reality.
She went to the London College of Fashion but left without a degree. Instead, she began working for a concierge company called Quintessentially and then joined Inca Productions to work as a fashion show and events coordinator. In 2015, she pitched an idea for a denim company to Kris Jenner, whom she met during Paris Fashion Week. This led to her teaming with Khloe Kardashian to create Good American in 2016.
She then co-founded Skims with her husband Jens Grede and Kim Kardashian in 2019. She serves as the CPO of Skims. Emma next co-founded Safely with Kris Jenner and Chrissy Teigen in 2021. Thanks to all her hard work and connections, Emma is now worth over $300 million.
What will Emma Grede see this week on Shark Tank?
There are four new products that Emma Grede has a chance to invest in this week on Shark Tank. They include a chic lunchbox, women’s clothing geared toward the military, a baby blanket, and kitty litter that can detect early-onset illnesses in the cats.

Of the four products, it seems that Emma Grede might have the best connection with two of the companies. These are Torch Warrior Wear and Modern Picnic Lunchers. However, it was Modern Picnic whom Emma was talking to in her video, so that could be good or bad. That company makes chic Lunchers for modern-day businesswomen to carry to work that look like a purse.
The more sensible fit is Torch Warrior Wear. This is a clothing company created by a former Air Force officer. Her goal was to create bodysuits for women to wear under their uniforms that make them more comfortable. One of the key things that Emma did with Khloe and Kim Kardashian was to create clothing for women that were body-friendly. This could make it a perfect match this week on Shark Tank.
