Is Whoopi Goldberg out at The View Season 27? The new season is set to premiere soon, and fans finally got a first look at what’s ahead. However, they got quite a big scare about one star, Whoopi. Fans are getting excited about the upcoming Season 27 premiere. The finale aired earlier this month, and after a short hiatus, the long-running talk show will soon return on September 5.
Previously, it was reported that all of the current panelists would stay on the show. Sometimes, there are casting shake-ups as hosts take on different ventures. But Sunny Hostin, Whoopi Goldberg, Alyssa Farah Griffin, Sara Haines, Joy Behar, and Ana Navarro were all supposed to be back.
However, things may have changed, fans feared after watching a new preview.
Is Whoopi Goldberg out ahead of the Season 27 premiere?
On Thursday, fans got the first look at the new season. In the new clip, Alyssa, Joy, Sara, Ana, and Sunny get everyone amped up for what’s ahead. They each share three words to describe the new season as well. Some of these adjectives include electric, eventful, and authentic.
Interestingly, Whoopi Goldberg is missing from most of the footage. As her co-stars describe the new season and share their excitement, she’s absent.
Finally, at the very end of the video, Whoopi Goldberg makes an appearance. Ana asks where Whoopi is, and that’s when she peeks around from behind a camera and says, “I’m right here. We’ll see everybody next season. Keep talking!”
As fans watched the clip, they got anxious that Whoopi had been fired or walked out on her own. On social media, many fans expressed their concerns over Whoopi’s absence. One said, “Ya’ll had me for a second there. I got scared that Whoopi wasn’t coming back. Can’t wait for the new season.”
