Robin Roberts expresses gratitude to her friends

Gio Benitez shared a photo of his recent night out. He was photographed with his husband Tommy DiDario, Robin Roberts, and her girlfriend Amber Laign. They had a double date.

“A night of celebrating friendship, love, and all that’s to come in 2023. Happy weekend to you and yours!” Gio wrote in the caption of his Instagram post.

Robin Roberts took to the comment section. She shared her appreciation for her friends and expressed gratitude towards them.

“Such a wonderful night,” she wrote. “We appreciated the wedding advice!”

Sam Champion joined the comment section as well. He left the heart-eyed and hearts emojis. Ginger Zee added: “Great gang” along with the heart-eyed emoji. Dr. Jennifer Ashton wrote: “What a crew” with the fire emoji.

This comes after Robin Roberts announced on Good Morning America that she’s open to marriage in 2023. The two confirmed their engagement after being together for nearly twenty years. They will get married later this year.

GMA co-anchor takes a break from the morning show

On Thursday morning, Robin Roberts took to Instagram to share her daily morning message and prayer. The co-host also announced that she was taking a break from the morning show. In the clip, Robin wore a yellow blouse with blue pants. She read from her phone as she shared the following message.

“You may be in a limited environment right now that you can’t change. If you see lack, dysfunction, struggle on a regular basis, it can become ingrained in you to where you think that’s the way it’s supposed to be,” Robin Robert said. “The key is to not let the environment get in you. Don’t let mediocrity become the norm.”

Later in the video, Robin shared that she was going to New Zealand. The ABC star is taking off today, where she’ll be “reporting” live from. Robin admitted that it will be difficult to share her daily message and prayer from overseas. However, she’s still with her fans and followers “in spirit.”

“Alright go out there and have yourself a blessed day and be a blessing,” Robin Roberts concluded her message.
