‘Teen Mom’ Cory Wharton Gives Heartbreaking Update On Maya
For MTV’s Teen Mom alum, Cory Wharton, life has been pretty tough lately. Not only did he get slammed by Taylor Selfridge for being an anti-vaxxer, but now he is trying to deal with more worries. In fact, he has been trying to be a strong father for his daughter, Maya. She has been in and out of the hospital lately and it has fans concerned. Cory has been doing his best to share updates with fans, but it is an extremely stressful time for him right now.
What Happened to Maya?
When Maya was only four months old, Cory and Taylor had to rush her to the hospital. She was struggling to breathe. This made the young parents very scared. After a stay at the hospital, Cory Wharton told her fans that Maya had “Right and left heart catheterization with angiography. Using plastic tubes in the heart to measure the pressure and oxygen levels.” Cory then showed his child hooked up to a breathing machine. Additionally, he explained that she had also been diagnosed with RSV.
According to The U.S. Sun, Cory Wharton has made yet another update on Maya’s health. He has been silent for a few days and this caused fans to show concern. He took to Twitter to share an update on what has been going on. Additionally, he apologized for being silent. He wrote, “Day 11. We are still at the hospital in ICU, this has been the worst experience of my life, to watch your child sit there and stare into your soul to DO SOMETHING to help and there’s nothing I can do smfh. I don’t even know how to sum it all up. I just continue to pray.” He added that Maya is fighting and just how painful all of this is for him and Taylor.
Cory Wharton’s Strength Shows
As Cory Wharton’s fans continue to follow Maya’s story, they have also been shocked at how strong he is. He hasn’t had the easiest life, however, he tries his best to make the best of things. He has been working hard to stay with Maya during her hospital stay, but his ex, Cheyenne Floyd has needed him too. She, along with their children, were shot at multiple times while they were in a car! This was not the news that he wanted to hear, but it does seem as if they are doing alright.
Not only has he shown off his emotional strength, but recently he showed off his physical strength when he was in a boxing match. He boxed against, Chase DeMoor, from Too Hot To Handle. These two men ended the match in a draw. Cory’s fans enjoyed being able to see him in a new light.
