Sharon Osbourne compared herself to a slaughtered lamb. The Talk alum called out CBS for her abrupt exit from the show. She’s now speaking out about what happened, on her own terms. The reality star has a new project called Sharon Osbourne: To Hell and Back.

The show debuted on Monday, September 26. Sharon will discuss what happened when she found herself “in the crosshairs of the cancel culture movement.” Last year, she argued with The Talk co-host Sheryl Underwood over the controversial comments her friend Piers Morgan made about Meghan Markle.

The Talk alum shares her side of the story

As TV Shows Ace previously reported, Sheryl Underwood shared her true thoughts about Sharon Osbourne. She admits that she misses her former friend. The two haven’t spoken since that day on the CBS talk show. Fox & Friends shared a clip for Sharon’s upcoming show on Sunday, September 25, via Entertainment Weekly. In the sneak peek, she compared herself to a slaughtered lamb.

She also claims that “CBS denied responsibility” for what happened. The television personality feels that she was set up by the network. Sharon called out “cancel culture” for allowing people to “destroy my life because of the way I feel.” She feels that she got punished for sharing her opinion on live television.

“I didn’t want that to be the end of my career, and I thought it was unfair,” Sharon Osbourne continued. “I’m not racist, He’s [Piers Morgan] not racist, but because he said something about somebody who is mixed race… I said, ‘That’s nothing to do with that.’ He knew Meghan for a long time, so he’s talking from experience.”

During that infamous moment, Sharon got into an argument with Sheryl. She defended her friend for his comments about Meghan amid her interview with Oprah Winfrey. In light of Sharon’s comments, several crew members and former The Talk co-hosts accused Sharon of racist behavior. Even Holly Robinson Peete and Leah Remini shared similar accounts on social media.

Sharon Osbourne’s rep defends her

She allegedly acted inappropriate behind the scenes. Sharon Osbourne allegedly made racist jokes about former co-host Julie Chen and called Sara Gilbert a homophobic slur. Sharon’s representative denies the allegations. They claim that she has been “kind, collegial, and friendly with her hosts.”

Her representative also claims that Sharon Osbourne even invited them into her home and displayed “other gestures of kindness too many to name.” Sharon is both upset and unbothered by what happened. She’s shocked about the “lies” made against her. She also accused the show of its “recasting of history” and the “bitterness coming out.”
