Sam Champion was absent from Wednesday’s broadcast

Sam Champion was missing from Wednesday’s broadcast. Good Morning America viewers looked forward to seeing his sassy self report the daily forecast. Some of them tweeted at Sam to find out where he’s hiding yet again. Even though Sam went missing from the broadcast, he shared his daily coffee selfie on Twitter, causing concern among the fanbase.

“Drizzly am in NYC! Much better tomorrow! Stay dry and #bringcoffee,” Sam Champion tweeted alongside a selfie GIF of himself in the backseat of a rideshare vehicle.

He wore a camouflaged face mask and held a mug in his hand. The co-anchor also wore a purple workout T-shirt. Sam was in a good mood despite the weather and whatever was happening in his life. Fans immediately took to the tweet to ask about his absence on the morning show.

The GMA meteorologist likes to interact with the viewers on social media. He informs them about his whereabouts, so they never have to worry. Sam also shares updates on both his personal and professional lives.

Returned to GMA in late August

Fans were missing Sam Champion last month. He was on and off GMA for the past few weeks. Sam celebrated his 61st birthday at the beach. He returned on August 22 with some much-needed good news for fans.

“Welcome back!!!!!! We misssssed you!!!!” one user wrote.

“Good morning & welcome back Sam! So good to see you!” a second added.

Sam Champion brought some good news with him. He shared that rain was on the way. NYC got more rain this week. It was much-needed in a summer that’s been hot and dry.
