‘The View’ Newbie Alyssa Farah Griffin Cut-Off By Producers?
The View newbie Alyssa Farah Griffin was cut-off by producers. She admitted that her speech was shortened during the hiring announcement. The ABC talk show announced that Alyssa and Ana Navarro will be joining the show in the Fall 2022 season. Both of the conservative comments were named the permanent hosts earlier this month. Find out what happened to Alyssa during her announcement.
Did Alyssa Farah Griffin get interrupted?
In an exclusive interview with People, Alyssa Farah Griffin revealed that her speech got “cut short” after the news of the announcement. The conservative had more to say about her new gig. However, The View producers cut her off before she got a chance to speak. Alyssa planned to talk about her co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines, and Ana Navarro.
“I had something prepared for each of them and had I had more time, I would’ve set it on air!” Alyssa Farah Griffin revealed to People. “I adore them.”
Despite being cut-off during her segment, the former White House staffer says she’s happy to be part of the show. Alyssa said her feelings are indescribable as she thinks The View is “iconic.” She feels that the talk show was ahead of its time as there was nothing else like it on television at the time.
“And thinking back on when the show was launched, the idea of bringing women from totally different viewpoints — women from the entertainment field, journalists, lawyers, political commentators — and having them talk about issues that, frankly, at the time, you didn’t really even talk about on daytime TV?” Alyssa Farah Griffin explained. “It was such a gamble, but so groundbreaking.”
She feels that it’s “iconic” because it “sets the tone for women speaking up and speaking out.” As Alyssa previously revealed, she can’t wait to use her voice more on the show. She had a rocky start when she made her debut on The View. However, she is “deeply honored to be there.”
Gushes about The View co-hosts
During that same interview, Alyssa Farah Griffin also gushed about her co-hosts. She called Sunny “brilliant” and “a tremendous woman.” When it came to Joy, she loves how “strong” she is “in her convictions.” She also thinks the host found the right balance when it comes to sharing her opinions in a humorous way.
Alyssa couldn’t stop gushing over Whoopi. She called the actress an “icon” that she’s looked up to all of her life. She also has a lot of respect for Sara, who she finds so “kind and thoughtful.” Her interview comes after viewers noticed that the show didn’t allow the audience to boo her.

I don’t think anyone that follows Donald Trump should be on any talk show. We are tired of hearing a bunch of lies.
