The View fans noticed that the show imposed a new rule amid Alyssa Farah Griffin’s debut. She first appeared on the talk show on Wednesday, July 27. Ever since then, she’s had a rough footing. Alyssa already clashed with her fellow hosts as fans call for her firing.

However, the viewers at home noticed something strange about the in-audience. They think the show won’t allow the crowd to boo or cheer for the new host. Alyssa is one of the top contenders for the show’s 26th season in September 2022. Read on to see how these theories got started.

Alyssa Farah Griffin hired as full-time host?

There is speculation whether Alyssa Farah Griffin will replace Meghan McCain, who left The View last year. John McCain’s daughter caused controversy for some of the political comments she made. Her replacement hasn’t been won over by fans. Alyssa already has a controversial past with her political ties to former President Donald Trump.

Viewers wished the show would’ve gone with someone who was kind of safe. The View has had its share of outspoken conservative guest hosts in the past. So, this is nothing new for the daytime talk show as it welcomes the backlash. Production is aware that it will get even more people to tune in.

There are reports claiming that Alyssa will become the new permanent host. However, others suggest that she’s just testing for the position. She’s just one of the many who’s been considered. As TV Shows Ace previously reported, fans want Ana Navarro to end up with the permanent position.

They believe she’s the perfect conservative panelist for the show. Most fans agree that she doesn’t stir trouble with her political views and opinions. They also like how she fits in with her fellow hosts. Recently, fans aren’t happy with the new rule that the show has imposed lately.

The View audience isn’t allowed to boo the new girl?

In the recent broadcasts of The View, permanent hosts Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sara Haines, and Sunny Hostin were announced before they took their seats at the big table. During that time, the audience cheers for them. Alyssa wasn’t included in the lineup.

Whoopi briefly mentioned the 33-year-old before they jumped into the day’s topics. Fans took to Twitter to speculate if the show made this move on purpose. The audience didn’t have the chance to boo or cheer for her.

  • “I love how quickly they’ve been saying Alyssa’s name at the beginning, giving no chance for the crowd to boo.”
  • “It’s like they read our tweets and want us to know they’re on our side.”
  • “Nor did one solitary person clap for her.”

It sounds like the show is trying to play it safe. Fans have already slammed the new host. They think she’s too “boring” and “problematic.” However, some are excited to see Alyssa in Meghan’s old seat.

  1. Anna is to far left. She claims to be a Republican but does not fit. Alyssa is not a Trumper. Perfect for the 1 Republican you allow us to have. It’s always 4 against the 1. Would be nice if 2 were allowed.

    1. It used to be 4 points of view and it was an awesome show way back… now I would never watch the hateful, spiteful bullies!

  2. Grow up!! Alyssa is professional and is a needed conservative view, and I’m a democrat! I also love Ana and if she doesn’t get the FT role (if she would even want it) I hope to keep seeing her when others are off.

  3. The View and any of those daytime talk shows like girl chat should be taken off the air for their biased views. They don’t want to have or hear from anyone that doesn’t agree with THEIR view.they are just troublemakers

  4. This show is one hateful show. Whoopi,Joy and Sunny think every they say is the gospel. I can’t watch it anymore. Whoopi is rude and butts on and so does Joy. Just like the Democrats to have 4 to one. Nothing fair about that. It just makes people want to vote Republican.

  5. I personally thought she merged well on the view… she says that actually she was Melenoma’s press secretary. So what, Senators are still on the job and they helped Trump for 4 years and still carry the BIG lie! I like her and she is middle of the road….leave her be!@

  6. Don’t watch The View any longer because I have never enjoyed three against one or how RUDE the ladies are to some of their guests!!!!!!

  7. Don’t watch The View any longer because I have never enjoyed how RUDE the ladies are to some of their guests!!!!!! Nor, do I enjoy how they gang up on one another!

  8. This show is predicated on a single point of view shared by the 4 liberal hosts. Their lack of political knowledge leaves it uncredible. No real deep thought there… just a hatred for conservatism in general.

  9. Ana Navarro conservative? Hah! That’s a laugh! Furthest thing from conservative! She is one of the biggest Cheerleaders the left has!
Maybe that’s why the rabid mob that follows this garbage wants her.

  10. Only full-time co-host are announced with the opening credits. The temp co-host/visiting is announced by the moderator which is usually Whoopi or Joy.
I love Ana and I also like to hear others point of view. I do think there should be 2 conservatives at the table but I also love everyone who is there right now.
I think they should keep the rotating extra co-host going to keep the show fresh

  11. Leave the girl alone. She is new and no one usually don’t like the new person. Same mess going on with Jeopardy and their hosts. Sure the former hosts are the best they have been with us for years but when people leave or die they have to be replaced. Another person was Bob Barker. They can’t stay forever. Give this lady a chance. The other hosts are having problems too. I’m glad to see a new host finally coming in. No matter who it is their is always pros and cons. Give her a chance. Who knows you might change your mind.
