'The View' Fans Upset, Want Ana Navarro As New Host

The View fans are not happy with the new host Alyssa Farah Griffin. As TV Shows Ace previously reported, they threatened to quit the show after her surprised hiring. ABC failed to notify fans that they chose someone to replace Meghan McCain’s spot. The new conservative host already had a rough start ever since.

However, it’s not unlikely for the conservative commentators to ruffle feathers. It became common with former hosts like Meghan, Candace Cameron Bure, and Elizabeth Hasselbeck, among others. It kind of comes with the territory of being on an outspoken daytime talk show where everyone shares their opinion.

Alyssa Farah Griffin is in the running for the position

Ever since she made her debut on Wednesday, July 27, Alyssa Farah Griffin had a rough start on The View. Some fans are already demanding for her firing. They previously accused her of being “jealous” of Karine Jean-Pierre during their awkward interview, which went viral on social media.

They also loved it when Sunny Hostin shut her down during a heated debate. They also noticed that the audience isn’t allowed to boo the new host. Not only did they call out Alyssa, but they also called out production for their poor decision. Most fans just wished they would’ve gotten a head’s up.

Other fans want their voices heard. They feel that The View could’ve hired someone who doesn’t have a controversial past. Alyssa Farah Griffin previously worked for former President Donald Trump as a White House Director of Strategic Communications. Because of this, fans think she’s “problematic” and “annoying.”

Alyssa makes it known that she’s worked for the White House. She brought it up in almost every conversation on the show. Reports suggest she could become the new full-time host for The View’s Season 26 in September 2022. Yet, fans want someone else to fill that spot.

The View fans want Ana Navarro as the new host

The View fans have already shared their input. They called for Ana Navarro to become the new host of the daytime talk show. Most of the outrage had taken place on Twitter. They shared their thoughts on Alyssa after her first three days.

“I will stop watching The View if former Trumper, Alyssa Farah Griffin is hired.”
“Give the job to Ana Navarro, even if she has to stay in Florida!”
“If #TheView has integrity and wants a truly different conservative voice that is not extremist and has never sold out, that would only be @ananavarro.”
“They should reconsider and hire her or many of us will simply not watch the show anymore.”
“The View is afraid to publicly announce they hired AFG as a permanent co-host because they know viewers will RIGHTFULLY leave in droves!”
