She thanked fans of The View for their support over the years. They felt that she was a shoo-in to become the new conservative panelist. Ana will join original hosts Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sara Haines, and Sunny Hostin. As TV Shows Ace previously reported, Sunny inked a three-year deal with the controversial talk show.

The View then announced that Ana was the new permanent host of the show. She was a guest host for many years. Whoopi joked that she was “overqualified” for the position. Ana joins a long list of conservator hosts, including Meghan McCain, who left the show last year.
