Jeopardy! fans blow up over name change
Mayim Bialik infamously called the first round of Jeopardy “Single Jeopardy.” During her interview on The Kelly Clarkson Show, she talked about the backlash she received from that. She admitted that fans lost their minds over the name change. Fans had a blow-up over the name because they don’t think the first round needs to have a name.
The first round already differentiates itself from “Double Jeopardy.” Bialik claimed that she was only repeating the phrase from the clue boards she reviewed before the show. She joked that she wasn’t trying to “go rogue.” Bialik is aware that a lot of viewers tune into the quiz show every night.

“Isn’t it funny what people freak out about?” host Kelly Clarkson asked.
“People care a lot about Jeopardy,” Mayim Bialik said. “And that’s very important.”
She admitted that she won’t make that same mistake again. The Big Bang Theory star is the type of person who plays by the rules. She explained that she’s not trying to change the rules of the show or do it her way. Bialik would rather do what’s right.

Meanwhile, Mayim Bialik continues to get backlash for the way she hosts Jeopardy! Some fans think she’s not the perfect fit. Some think she’s not that smart when it comes to popular culture topics. Others argue that she giggles too much and doesn’t match the flow of the game show.

Ken Jennings is fantastic mayim is fuddy Duddy and her wardrobe is from the 1950’s way too dated. She isn’t that smart about current events or pop culture. She did not know who the band Queen is. You would have to li e in a cave to not know that band! She is a terrible host.
You must be a relative. HUMBLE, surely you are joking. Her self-impressed attitude is plain to a blind man.
Can’t wait to get Jennings back. He’s improved a great deal since his first attempts at hosting. Truly had a very big pair of shoes to fill. Frankly, no one could really do that

I prefer Ken Jennings. Matin sounds condescending when she lets a contestant know their answer is wrong. Like she knows better.
I LOVE HER!!! The change to have her on as the host has increased our viewing, including our kids! I do not believe that Jeopardy was intended to be a stuffy and arrogant game show! I love her laugh and jokes that she brings to the show!!!!!!!! I feel bad that others are trying to force her to be a duplicate Alex Trebek. Nobody can fill his shoes and, to be honest, he was rather arrogant, especially in his last few years. Jeopardy needed this change! I do agree with the wardrobe though.
