American Idol fans are curious to learn if fan favorites Leah Marlene and Fritz Hager are dating. The popular singing competition has created massive music careers over the years. It can also lead two contestants to fall in love with one another. Viewers noticed the way that Leah and Fritz interact with one another when they perform on stage.

It’s possible that their relationship blossomed because of the show. Fritz and Leah have gone through many highs and lows together. Fritz addressed his relationship status with his fellow contestant before his shocking elimination. Even though he’s gone from AI, he still has a bright future ahead of him.

Fritz Hager eliminated from American Idol

On the Sunday, May 15 episode of American Idol, Fritz Hager was the latest contestant to go home. Even his fanbase couldn’t save him. Even though Hager was a shoo-in to win Season 20, it still wasn’t enough to move him into the Top 3. Both the audience and the judges loved his emotional performances.

Hager even performed some of his original music. Yet, he didn’t get enough votes from Fritz Nation. The fanbase coined themselves the name after watching his journey unfold on American Idol. They’ve already been supporting Hager by buying his music.

In March, Hager dropped his eponymous EP. It already climbed up the iTunes charts thanks in part to his fans. Hager made sure to thank them on social media. He couldn’t believe what was happening to his music career.

It’s already burning up, even without American Idol. One of the tracks on his album went No. 3 on the iTunes charts. Unfortunately, Hager was the one who went home on Sunday night. It was an emotional time for the contestant who hugged Leah Marlene, leading to the dating rumors.

They couldn’t stop embracing one another. Leah made it to the Top 3 of American Idol Season 20 alongside HunterGirl and Noah Thompson. Hager was eliminated along with Nicolina Bozzo. Fans assumed Bozzo would be the one to sweep the competition.

Is he dating Leah Marlene?

Hager set the record straight about the dating rumors. American Idol fans couldn’t help but wonder if the two are dating. They seemed particularly close and emotional during the last episode.

“Oh, no. No. She’s like my sister. She’s great,” Hager told reporters, including Hollywood Life at the show. “We’ve been in this competition together, working together since Hollywood Week, and to get this far with her is special.”

He got emotional when he revealed what he told her on stage. Hager said he was “proud” of her Marlene. He also loves her and thinks she’ll go far. Hager encouraged American Idol fans to vote for her to win.
