American Idol Fritz Hager shares BIG news with fans

He’s already hit a milestone in his music career. Hager is one of the lucky Top 10 contestants who’s part of Season 20 of American Idol. On Thursday, April 28, he took to Instagram to share the big news with fans. Just a week prior to competing during Disney Night, he reached a huge milestone in his career.

Hager shared a screenshot of the iTunes chart from earlier this week. He dropped his self-titled EP in March 2022, which is already climbing up the charts thanks in part to Fritz Nation. The fanbase gave themselves the name after voting and witnessing the fan favorite on American Idol. He took to the post to thank them for their support.

“My brain is so broken right now,” he wrote in the Instagram post. “Thank you guys so much.”

In the clip, he wrote, “I wrote this song back when no one cared or listened to my music, and now it’s #3 on the pop iTunes… Dreams come true.”

The EP eventually shot No. 1 on the album’s chart. The American Idol contestant took to his Instagram Stories to share this latest milestone. He was flabbergasted over this latest development.

“I’m in shock. I’m in shock right now,” Hager said during his Instagram live stream with fans. “What is happening?”

What’s happening on Disney Night?

On Sunday, May 1, 2022, American Idol is Disney Night, which is the most popular episode of the ABC series. Disney Blog already shared the details of what each of the contestants will sing. Hager will perform “Go the Distance” from the cult favorite Hercules.

Check out the rest of the list here. The Top 10 contestants and celebrity judges will be joined by Dancing with the Stars professional dancer and guest judge Derek Hough. He will serve as a replacement mentor for Ben Platt, who had to step back. There will also be a special performance on “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” from Rhenzy and Adassa.
