Josh Duggar Spent Time With Children On Bond, Friend Confirms
According to a friend, Josh Duggar spent time with children after being released on bond. The eldest Duggar son is currently facing child pornography charges and is set to be sentenced in a couple of weeks. So, why was he around children amid these disturbing charges?
This past week, letters were sent to the prosecution on Josh Duggar’s case. Several friends and family members wrote these letters for leniency when it comes to sentencing. For example, Josh’s mother, Michelle, spoke about his positive traits and how he cares for others. His wife, Anna, talked about how he’s an involved father to their seven children.
One person who wrote a letter about Josh Duggar is his guardian, LaCount Reber. The Reber family allowed him to stay with them while he was released on conditions. While his letter about Josh was positive, it also revealed that Josh was around children when he was awaiting his trial.
According to a friend, Josh Duggar spent time with children while released on bond.
LaCount wrote, “I am writing on behalf of Joshua Duggar, to share with you my personal observations, after he came to live with our family this past year leading up to his trial. This living arrangement allowed us to get to know him and his family.”
He talked about Josh Duggar being “patient” and “kind” to their children, writing, “During their visits I would often see him playing games, reading a book, constructing legos, playing basketball, throwing a football or taking walks with his wife and children.”
Further describing Josh Duggar’s character, LaCount said, “He would patiently instruct his children, for example when it was time to clean up toys or tidy the area by encouraging and walking through the process with them and showing by example what he wanted them to do, patiently following through until the task was completed.”
Josh and his wife, Anna, share seven children. Their youngest, Madyson, was born in October of 2021. Their other kids include Mackynzie, Michael, Marcus, Meredith, Mason, and Maryella.
Because Josh was hanging out with his own children, this falls within the conditions of his bond. He was allowed to see his own children not others. So, he technically wasn’t breaking any rules. However, fans can see why his being around kids could be concerning, based on his crime.
So, does it surprise you that Josh Duggar spent time with his children when he was released on bond? Do you think it’s bizarre that Anna allowed this despite his disturbing charges? Share your thoughts in the comments section below, and come back to TV Shows Ace for more Duggar family news.
