Anna Duggar Baby’s Birth Finally Breaks Instagram Silence
Anna Duggar’s baby is here, and her Instagram posts have resumed – at least for now. The former TLC star has broken her social media silence to share a very big announcement with fans. Read on to see what all is known about Anna’s social media break and the baby’s birth.
Former TLC star goes silent on social media
As we have reported, Josh Duggar was arrested for the possession of child pornography in the spring. Since then, he’s been waiting for his November 30 trial. Due to all of the negative attention the family was receiving, several members of the family ditched social media. While a few of Josh’s siblings issued statements on the subject of his arrest, Anna stayed silent. She didn’t post online until now.
Her most recent post came on April 24, and Josh was arrested on April 29. Throughout the whole summer and part of the fall, Anna remained offline. Many fans assumed this was due to Josh’s arrest and the inevitable criticism she would face if she allowed people to comment on her posts.
Anna Duggar’s baby announcement breaks her hiatus
Finally, Anna is back on social media. The mom-to-seven posted on Tuesday morning to reveal that her newest baby has arrived. She shared a photo of the newborn on her Instagram feed and stories. She revealed the baby’s name, birth date, length, and weight as well.
It comes as a huge surprise because she has been so inactive online. Fans and critics wondered if Anna would ever announce the baby’s birth. The news seemingly came out of the blue, though.
Now, it will be interesting to see whether Anna continues to post on Instagram amid her husband’s scandal or if she disappears again. She may only post for bigger announcements instead of everyday posts about the kids.
On her baby announcement post, she has comments restricted so only the people she follows can comment. This will keep much of the negative talk off of her page.
