‘The Bachelor’: What Happened To Rachel Recchia’s Voice?
For The Bachelor, Rachel Recchia and all of the ladies vying for Clayton Echard’s heart were tested often for COVID-19. That didn’t stop fans from worrying about the fact her voice seemed to be almost gone during hometowns.
Rachel had already become known for whispering when she and Clayton were on their one-on-one date. In true Bachelor nation fashion, half of the fans thought it was adorable while the other half thought it was weird. Rachel, for her part, didn’t remember doing it.
Why Did Rachel Recchia Lose Her Voice?
Rachel Recchia is talking about her raspy whispers and explaining why she lost her voice. Talking to Click Bait with Mike Johnson, Tia Booth, and Natasha Parker, she discussed the fun-filled hometown date and the slow journey to losing her voice. Recchia has been a bright spot on a season where deceit and manipulation have been at play with some of the women.
Rachel started the date with her voice, though it did sound raspier than usual. The two of them rented canoes and enjoyed visiting places where she grew up. As the date continued, her voice got hoarser, and fans noticed. She whispered she was falling in love with him. Her father, originally someone she thought would make it hard on Clayton, gave his blessing to the couple by patting him on the arm. They’d set up a secret gesture for just that reason earlier and fans absolutely melted.
Fans thought she was sick. Ultimately several questioned if she had COVID and producers pushed through anyway. that seems unlikely because of all the precautions and testing production goes through. Rachel set the record straight. She said it was not COVID according to Screen Rant. She said she had gotten sick the week before filming, but most likely the traveling for the show was what did it.
Natasha Parker Wanted To Know About The Whispers
Natasha Parker asked Rachel Recchia why she whispered to Clayton. She said she didn’t remember doing it. The twenty-five-year-old said, “when you’re in that environment for the first time, it’s crazy. There’s so much happening. And you’re having your own moment sometimes.”
Sweetly she felt like it was just the two of them. She said she now knows whispering Is something she learned she does after watching herself. Rachel was able to be a good sport about the gentle teasing. The hosts all told her how cute they thought it was and fans agreed.
Now Clayton has to choose between Rachel, arguably the fan-favorite, Gabby Windey, or Susie Evans. Fantasy Suites are rumored to be full of drama like always.
