Kathy Griffin Sends Out Warning To Andy Cohen & Anderson Cooper, Video
Kathy Griffin has had a storied career, particularly with her own Bravo reality series. However, in a recent share, she issued a warning for two other prominent figures in the media: Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper. This isn’t the first time she discussed the two, either. She previously talked about the two back in 2024.

Griffin is an Illinois-born comedian known for a variety of projects. These include various television shows, comedy specials, and comedy albums.
For many, Griffin is best known for her Bravo reality series, Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List. This series, which focused on her life as she navigated Hollywood, originally ran from 2005 to 2010.

More recently, Griffin has shared a new digital series, “Talk Your Head Off,” with fans on social media. During a recent episode, she had some choice words for two other figures in the media.
Noting that they’ve faced conflicts in the past, Griffin shared, “The only reason I’m putting aside my beef with Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper is because I want you guys to recognize that you have a much larger microphone and platform than little D-lister Kathy Griffin.”
This was in light of the recent fatal shootings in Minnesota by ICE agents, including Renee Nicole Good. Griffin, noting Cooper’s work as a journalist covering dangerous stories, asked, “Anderson, why aren’t you on the ground? Why aren’t you in Minnesota, boots on the ground, being the reporter that I knew you to be?”

Griffin also had a few words for Cohen, discussing his work as the head of Watch What Happens Live, feeling he should use his platform to discuss such current events. She continued, “I’m imploring you to devote one minute of every episode to show what’s really happening with a government occupation of a U.S. state.”
Ultimately, Griffin issued a warning that they should use these platforms while they still had them. Griffin also felt that they were lucky considering they were members of the LGBTQ+ community in the media. As she noted, “You guys are next.”

Speaking with Entertainment Weekly in 2024, during the time of her My Life on the PTSD-List comedy tour, Griffin claimed that Cohen and Cooper distanced themselves from her following an infamous 2017 viral image in which she appeared to hold President Donald Trump’s severed head. At the time, the photo had sparked a United States Secret Service investigation.
In particular, while looking at why a sequel to her Bravo series was denied, Griffin asked why she was the one being asked about the dissolution of her relationship with Cooper and Cohen. She continued, “Nobody goes up to Anderson and goes, ‘How could you have done that to Kathy?'”
Griffin continued, “Nobody goes up to Andy and goes, ‘Andy, how could you do that to one of the stars of your network?'” Ultimately, she felt, “Nobody asks them, ever.”
