‘The View’ Whoopi Goldberg Gets Raked Over Coals For Attire
The View aired its last episode on Friday, December 18. The talk show returns with new episodes in early January. The hosts are off for the holidays. Viewers who tuned in this week noticed something strange about Whoopi Goldberg’s attire and fear she’ll be ‘raked over the coals’ for it. Keep reading for more details.
The View Fan Blasts Host’s ‘Entitlement’
Whoopi Goldberg has moderated The View for 18 seasons. She has the most consecutive seasons due to OG host Joy Behar skipping several seasons. One fan took to social media to blast Whoopi Goldberg’s entitlement.
The issue began when another fan pointed out that Whoopi Goldberg recently joined the show’s Behind the Table podcast for just the third time this year. That’s way less than the other hosts, including Joy Behar, who has seniority.

An annoyed fan blasted Whoopi Goldberg’s “entitlement.” They wrote, She should be made to do it as often as the others. “It’s not fair that the rest of them have to pick up the slack and do it more often because she simply doesn’t want to”
“I imagine being an EGOT winner comes with certain perks,” a third fan replied. Whoopi Goldberg is a rare celebrity who has won an Emmy, Golden Globe, Oscar, and Tony.
Fans Fear Whoopi Goldberg Will Be Raked Over Coals For New Attire
It seems Whoopi Goldberg gets another perk on the show. She can choose to wear the same outfit days in a row. Eagle-eyed viewers noticed that the moderator seemed to wear the same black and white ensemble on multiple shows this week.
“She’s obviously discovered this black/white look (that does look good on her). But it looks like she keeps wearing the same thing,” one fan wrote on social media. Looking at the episodes that air on Wednesday, December 17, Thursday, December 18, and Friday, December 19, it appears that Whoopi Goldberg did indeed wear the same outfit all three days.

Other viewers took to the comments to defend the odd behavior. One fan wrote, “So what if she has. They sometimes tape more than one episode a day. The clothes aren’t actually theirs anyway.”
Another added, “They for sure taped this right after they put up the holiday decor. They make these holiday episodes very generic so they can rerun it a few times through the holidays”
A third fan shared their concern that Whoopi Goldberg would get “raked over the coals” by a YouTube vlogger because of the wardrobe choices. “Please don’t let MVOTV know because she will rake whoopi over the coals for doing so and go on a rant about how much she hates her job & how whoopi shouldn’t be there,” they wrote.
MVOTV is the YouTube channel My View On The View about the talk show.

Good Lord!? It’s true that these shows do tape several shows on occasion. It is accurate that she gets away with more than most. She doesn’t work there on Fridays either. However, a lot of the time she’s working elsewhere. She’s still acting and does comedy stints. I think a lot of the anger stems from jealousy. If the other hosts aren’t making a stink, why does it really matter? Just like our political differences are so out of control, everyone seems to enjoy ripping others who don’t agree with them. It’s time to work together. Our divisive president doesn’t help. Every chance he gets, he rips into half of America. That alone should disqualify him. This hate bs is exhausting. Time to put on big boy pants and behave like a president. He’s on a mission to destroy America, because he thinks he should be able to do whatever he wants 🙄 😏 😒. Please stop allowing this nonsense. Be kind. You’ll sleep better.
Because it is mouthing against a great sitting President that she and many on the panel trash daily!!!! Fire the whole bunch! Better yet cancel the racist, disrespectable, against this great country show! It is trash! I DO NOT KNOW ANYBODY WHI WATCHES IT AND I TRIED ONCE!! I never watched it again! And never will!!!!!!
be quiet PLEASE with this nonsense you’re bringing here! The writers, the panelists, the content, is superb! You have no idea how informative this show is, so go stick your head back in the sand!, and let them do their thing!
“The View” is utterly trash. They have one subject, and one subject only. Trash our President Trump. Hate is a terrible thing and “The View” ladies have a whole truck load of hate.
For somebody who’s only watched the show one time or less ….you surely do have an hateful view or opinion of it’s hosts and topics ! what’s really on your mind !?
there are many things that I don’t watch. if I’m not interested in them then I don’t go around on social media talking about them. you clearly have an interest in the show and it’s hosts because you are dedicating your time to them.
I wholeheartedly agree!!!
Whooping should stick to acting. Her leftist rhetiric is tiring.
Betty Ann Swonger had commented on here that “We all need to work together” and sheeentioned about people ripping into each other over politics. Yet Betty kept commenting about how bad our President Trump is doing. I must say her whole post is a bit oxymoronic.
When the View first began I watched it. The first episode was wonderful. However after that it began adding political view points. The politics were just a few at first. After that it grew and grew until it is what it is today. Like I had mentioned I watched the first season and stopped after the game of ‘Let’s see who can talk trash about our Government the best! ‘
Well! What can be said that hasn’t already been said?
Oh, I know!
Practice what you preach.
Stop hating and disrespecting and insulting those who are in disagreement with your point of view.
We can disagree and still be friendly. There’s nothing wrong with disagreeing with one another.
The fact that we disagree is proof we are exercising our freedom. That’s a great thing.
