‘The View’ Whoopi Goldberg Condemns, Says ‘D***’ You All’
Hollywood director Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele Singer Reiner, received an outpouring of grief after their tragic murders over the weekend. The View host Whoopi Goldberg did not hold back in the aftermath of a shocking death. ‘D*** you all,’ she said. Keep reading to find out what prompted such a vulgar response.
President Trump Under Fire For Insensitive Comments After Hollywood Icon Murdered
Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele Singer Reiner, were found dead in their Brentwood, California, home on Sunday, December 14. According to multiple reports, their daughter discovered her father’s body and was later informed that her mother was dead, too. The couple’s 32-year-old son was arrested later that day as a suspect in the shocking homicides.

After starring on All in the Family in the 1970s, Rob Reiner went on to direct some of the biggest hits in the 1980s and 1990s. He directed When Harry Met Sally and many other beloved movies. Politically, he was an outspoken Liberal who wasn’t a fan of President Trump. The feeling was mutual.
The President of the United States took to Truth Social with a message about Rob Reiner’s murder.
“A very sad thing happened last night in Hollywood. Rob Reiner, a tortured and struggling, but once very talented movie director and comedy star, has passed away, together with his wife Michele, reportedly due to the anger he caused others through his massive, unyielding, and incurable affliction with a mind crippling disease known as TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME, sometimes referred to as TDS,” President Trump wrote.
Reporters later gave him a chance to take the comments back. Instead, he doubled down and said he wasn’t a fan of Rob Reiner and again claimed “TDS” was the reason the director was dead.
Republicans React To What He Said
For many Americans, politics didn’t matter at all when mourning Rob Reiner and his wife. Some of the biggest MAGA celebrities, including actor James Woods and comic Rob Schneider, shared their devastation over the loss.

Furthermore, several Republicans in Congress spoke out against President Trump’s statements about Rob Reiner’s death. “Regardless of how you felt about Rob Reiner, this is inappropriate and disrespectful discourse about a man who was just brutally murdered,” Rep. Thomas Massie wrote on Twitter.
Rep. Stephanie Bice wrote, “We should be lifting the family up in prayer, not making this about politics.”

Many Republicans did admonish the President’s comments, but many others ignored his response to Rob Reiner’s murder completely. Speaker of the House Mike Johnson said, “I don’t do ongoing commentary about everything that’s said by everybody in government every day,” when asked by reporters about Trump’s comments.
However, Whoopi Goldberg didn’t hold back when reacting to the silence surrounding the President’s reaction to Rob Reiner’s death. The View co-host starred in the director’s 1996 historical drama Ghosts of Mississippi. She took the news of his passing hard, as many did.

In a passionate moment, Whoopi Goldberg condemned the Republicans who refused to speak out against President Trump’s comments.
“There is no justification for him to have written what he wrote. There’s no way to justify it, and all of those Republicans who are quiet, d*** you all.”
“D*** you all,” she repeated.
