‘Bargain Block’ Keith Bynum Suffers Bloody Head Injury
Working to renovate homes isn’t an easy task. In fact, it can even be dangerous. This is even true for various HGTV stars. Recently, Bargain Block star Keith Bynum shared a photo of a recent injury with fans on social media.
Keith Bynum Had A Story To Share With Bargain Block Fans
Many were introduced to Bynum from the HGTV series, Bargain Block. On the show, he and his partner Evan Thomas as they purchase and renovate homes in Detroit, Michigan. As seen on the show, Bynum and Thomas often live in the houses as they slowly transform them.
Originally premiering back in 2021, the series recently wrapped up this past September. However, Bynum still has stories to share with fans on social media. In fact, one recent share came with a surprising photo and a story.
Bynum opened up about a recent injury during a December 11 Instagram Story. He wrote, “Took a piece of drywall to the face last night. I’m good, but it hurt pretty bad.”
Bynum ultimately tried to have a sense of humor about the situation. As he wrote, “I may have cried a tiny bit, lol.” The share was also set to the song, “Kiss With a Fist,” by Florence & The Machine.
As noted by TV Insider, Byrnum and Thomas have continued to work on Detroit homes after their HGTV show’s cancellation. Bynum had also shared the news of the series’ cancellation back in June.
The Bargain Block Hosts Also Had A Surprise For Fans Just Ahead Of Christmas
This news came out despite a Season 5 renewal. The show continued to air the rest of Season 4 in August before finishing up on September 10.
Shortly after this, Thomas took to Instagram to thank fans for watching. At the time, he shared, “That’s a wrap on @bargainblock! Wednesday’s episode was the final episode of the series that Keith and I have been focused on almost exclusively for the past 5 years.”
In the post, Thomas continued, “It’s sometimes surreal to look back on that time, everything we’ve been through, everything we’ve accomplished, everything that has changed in our lives and in our business, with a lot of it captured for television.”
Recently, however, Thomas and Bynum have continued to remain busy. In another post on social media, they shared that they recently hosted a meet and greet at their Detroit store, Nine Design + Homes. Just ahead of the holiday season, Bynum shared, “We’re gonna be open and hanging out at the store tomorrow 12/6 from 1-5 pm! Come chat about art, or design, or projects, buy some art, get some Christmas cheer.”

I love them and always looked forward to their show, I think they should get a you tube channel- you came make quite a lot- probably more that cheap HGTV paid them. I am disgusted they cancelled this show!
