In an interview with USA Today earlier this year, Vanna White named the one celebrity she would love to welcome to the show. Country singer Dolly Parton. “She’s been my idol from the time I started in show business,” Vanna White told the outlet.
Ryan Seacrest Robbed Blind By Contestant
Ryan Seacrest has some quirks as host that fans are still getting used to. But he clearly wants the contestants to win as much as possible. Curt Ostrow, from Deptford, New Jersey, was a contestant on Wheel of Fortune recently. After winning nearly $15,000 during the regular game, he headed to the Bonus Round in the hopes of earning even more.
The contestant previously told Ryan Seacrest that he was good at card tricks, but the Wheel of Fortune host didn’t count on the contestant’s sleight of hand.
While chatting before the Bonus Round started, Ryan Seacrest noticed that his watch was missing. “Where’s my watch?” he wondered.
Curt Ostrow replied, “Oop,” before taking the watch out of his pocket. The contestant had stolen Ryan Seacrest’s watch right off his wrist when he wasn’t looking!
Wheel Of Fortune Fans React To Thief
Ryan Seacrest playfully snatched his watch out of the contestant’s hand and continued with the game. The Bonus Round category was “Fun & Games.” Unfortunately, the puzzle was too difficult for the contestant to solve, causing him to miss out on an additional prize of a new car.
Fans of the show took to the comments to shame the contestant for trying to rob Ryan Seacrest. “Hey, man, that’s Ryan’s watch, not yours! You don’t take things that don’t belong to you,” one fan wrote.
Another added, “Now, why did Curt took Ryan’s watch like that? That ain’t right!”
Ryan Seacrest felt bad that the contestant didn’t win the Bonus Round. As the show ended, he tried to give his watch back to the contestant as a consolation prize.
