Gypsy Rose Blanchard Breaks Silence On Mackenzie Shirilla Case
Gypsy Rose Blanchard pleaded guilty to second-degree murder for her role in the death of her mother, Clauddinnea “Dee Dee” Blanchard. She was stabbed to death by her daughter’s boyfriend at the time. Nick Godejohn was sentenced to life in prison for the crime.
The details of the murders are very different. It’s widely believed that Gypsy Rose’s mother abused her and forced unnecessary medical procedures on her since early childhood. According to Gypsy Rose Blanchard, there is one huge difference between her and Mackenzie Shirilla. She has remorse for her mother’s death, whereas Mackenzie Shirilla has none.
Gypsy Rose broke her silence on the case in an interview with TMZ. She said that the Netflix documentary did Mackenzie Shirilla “no favors.”
“The time that she’s in prison right now, she needs to grow up and take accountability. Remorse is something that maybe is not coming natural right now because maybe it’s something she hasn’t dealt with, internally and emotionally. But it’s going to hit her like a train,” Gypsy Rose said.
She added that she doubts Mackenzie Shirilla will get parole because of a lack of remorse. Tell us in the comments if you agree with her.
