While there is a sense of excitement for some people when it comes to getting on a plane and jetting off, not everyone finds the experience enjoyable. For many people, getting on a flight is a stressful experience. There is a loss of control, as your life is literally in someone else’s hands.
In addition to this, a lot of things can go wrong. Things like engine failures or other issues make it a risk every time anyone boards a flight. Taking all of this into account, the stressful situation often amplifies when you travel with young children. One mother, in particular, was holding her young baby in her lap while on a flight, and she put a fellow passenger on blast.
Mom Goes Viral On TikTok For Putting Passenger On Blast
A mother named Bianca was on an economy flight while holding her young baby in her lap. At first glance, this is not anything new, as parents travel with their children all the time. However, the passenger in front of her chose to recline their seat while she had her baby in her lap.
In response, Bianca made a TikTok video calling this passenger out. The popular social media platform has headquarters all over the globe, but the primary location in the United States is in Culver City, California. Following Bianca posting her video on the platform, it has since gone viral, with many comments and views.
Bianca wrote in the caption of her video, “Flying with a baby on your lap is already hard enough… then someone slams their seat back into your space 😩 Come on guys, let’s be a little more courteous on planes! I would honestly be fine if no seat ever reclined again. It doesn’t even add that much more comfort!”

Speaking to PEOPLE about the incident, she went on to add, “I think the nice thing to do would be to just glance behind you to see who is sitting there and ask if they mind you reclining. I would never say no, I think it’s just nice to acknowledge that it does inconvenience someone else.”
