Even with as many years of experience as Steve Harvey has under his belt when it comes to hosting Family Feud, the popular host always has to be prepared for the unexpected. His comedic chops always have to be sharp so that he can seamlessly deliver the next punchline on the air.
Luckily for Harvey, Family Feud scenes provide him with endless opportunities to have fresh material to work with. Between the wild survey questions and the even wilder answers that players give him on the show, there is never a dull moment, and this is one of the many reasons why people continue to tune in after all of these years.
Crazy Answer On Popular Game Show Completely Baffles Host
One recent segment of Family Feud was wild enough to make it into a viral clip that the social media account of the popular game show shared online. In these recent scenes, Steve Harvey asked the survey question: “Name something you shouldn’t leave out in the open at your house when people come to visit.”
Without hesitation, one Family Feud player said: “Your Social Security card!”
This answer, while not entirely wrong, got Steve Harvey’s head spinning, and he had plenty to say about it, too. The popular game show host said: “You just as crazy as you want to be, ain’t you?”
The host piled on even more, adding: “There’s something wrong with you, ain’t it? All your answers are crazy. Most of us don’t even know where the hell our Social Security card is. I wish it was laying out somewhere. I ain’t seen it since I was 16.”
As it turned out, the answer was not on the board. However, the Family Feud contestant joked that she had “bad credit.” So, as wild as this answer was, it was easy to see where her mind was when she gave it.
