‘Family Feud’ Steve Harvey Season 27 Fate Revealed
Fans have watched Family Feud go through various changes over the years, from different networks to different hosts. However, fans are still wondering if the long-running game show will be coming back with more. Recently, current Family Feud host Steve Harvey teased the fate of the show in a recent social media post.
Steve Harvey Took On His Role As Host Of Family Feud In 2010
Family Feud has been around in some form since 1976. It has appeared on various networks, including ABC and CBS, as well as running in first-run syndication.
Naturally, the series has also had a few co-hosts over the years, This has included the likes of Richard Dawson, Ray Combs, and Louie Anderson. In 2010, Steve Harvey would take on hosting duties for the series, serving as the most recent host.

With his position on the show, Harvey certainly knows what’s going on behind the scenes. Taking to social media, he recently shared some information with fans about the fate of the long-running game show.
Taking to Instagram, Harvey shared a photo of himself dressed in a suit, paired with sunglasses. As shared in the caption, he was donning “Custom Dolce & Gabbana Alta Sartoria.” The post was notably shared by both Harvey and his stylist Elly Karamoh.
However, the big reveal wasn’t just Harvey’s new outfit. The caption also wrote, “Season 27,” paired with a microphone emoji. In essence, the news came with its own mic drop. He also notably appeared to be backstage while working on the show.
Deadline had previously confirmed that the show had been renewed through the 2025-26 season. This means Harvey will be part of the show as it celebrates its 50th anniversary.
As the publication noted at the time, the series was in its fifth consecutive season as television’s top first-run syndicated show among women aged 25 to 54. Debmar-Mercury co-presidents Mort Marcus and Ira Bernstein also released a statement praising the series.

As the statement read, “Demand for a proven demo and household ratings winner like Family Feud has been intense. We are extremely pleased to be able to continue our long-term relationships with our incredible broadcast partners, while providing our dedicated viewers of all ages with much-needed laughter and enjoyment throughout the coming years.”

I love FF! But most of all I love the segments shown of his time with the audience after Feud ends where he shares his relationship with God and how God is in his life and has brought him to where his is today. He has probably helped a lot of people through difficult times and we will never know the impact he has.
time for a fresh looking new host, hopefully some who was like SH when he first came to the show.
He’s getting older and it’s showing with the absence of his comedy. laughs. jokes and diminished demeanor…
