The Black Sabbath Lead Singer Shared An Update With Fans On His SiriusXM Series

Osbourne is known to heavy metal fans as the lead singer of Black Sabbath. In the 2000s, he and his family also became known to audiences through the reality series, The Osbournes.

The singer had been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease back in 2019. He revealed the diagnosis to the public the following year, with the disease impacting both his speech and his ability to walk.

In spite of his health concerns, Ozzy was set to perform at a final show for Black Sabbath. However, as noted by The U.S. Express, Ozzy has recently shared what fans can expect from him.

Osbourne revealed the news during his Ozzy Speaks show on SiriusXM. As he noted, “I’m not planning on doing a set with Black Sabbath but I am doing little bits and pieces with them. I am doing what I can, where I feel comfortable.”

“I’m not going to get up there and do a half-hearted Ozzy looking for sympathy. What’s the f****** point in that? I’m not going up there in a f****** wheelchair.”

Black Sabbath concluded their last tour back in 2017. It was recently announced, however, they would come together for one more show. As previously reported, Ozzy’s wife Sharon was also heavily involved with developing the upcoming show.

The ‘Back To The Beginning’ Show Will Give Proceeds To Charity

Earlier this year, Ozzy revealed they were planning a charity show, “Back to the Beginning,” at Villa Park in Birmingham this July. As the publication noted, proceeds will aid “Cure Parkinson’s, Birmingham Children’s Hospital, and Acorns Children’s Hospice.”

Ozzy is expected to team up with guitarist Tony Iommi, bassist Geezer Butler, and drummer Bill Ward. The concert is currently said to be both the band’s finale and Ozzy’s last performance with the group. It will notably be the first time in 20 years that the group’s original quarter will be on stage together.

On Ozzy Speaks, the singer has also discussed the treatments he’s undergoing. In one episode, he discussed using stem cell therapy:

“I’ve just come back from the doctor after having some stem cells put in me…. The thing is, you have it, and you go, ‘I don’t feel that great,’ but I don’t know what it would be like if I didn’t have it,”
