Tom Brady Is Now An NFL Team Owner
Many NFL fans believe Tom Brady is the greatest player to step on a field in history. That’s for good reason. Throughout his career, Brady won seven Super Bowl titles, five Super Bowl MVPs, and three regular-season MVPs, along with plenty of other accolades. The star quarterback played most of his career for the New England Patriots before ending with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The most remarkable part of all of it is nobody saw it coming. Brady was a sixth-round pick out of Michigan and sat behind Drew Bledsoe before taking over because of injury. Now that Brady has retired, he’s taken an interest in owning a team. These are the details behind Brady’s recent purchase of part of an NFL squad.
Tom Brady Recently Bought A Share Of An NFL Team
Brady always wanted to own part of an NFL team once he retired. The day has finally happened for the legendary quarterback. Brady is now officially a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders. Mark Davis will continue owning the majority of the team, but Brady now has a financial stake in the team. The Raiders team account on X (formerly known as Twitter) posted Brady walking into the facility.
Brady talked about wanting to be more involved in the football operations side of things. He’s one of the smartest players to ever walk onto the field, so having his expertise will only be a good thing for the Raiders. There is one catch, though. Brady was recently brought on by Fox to be the analyst for the channel’s biggest game of the week. He signed a massive contract that’s worth around $30 million per year. How will this affect Brady’s broadcasting job?
How Will Being An Owner Affect Brady’s Job With Fox?
Now that Brady’s an owner, he will have tons of restrictions. For instance, the crew that’s calling each game meets with various coaches, players, and other members of the teams playing during the week to give the best insight. Brady won’t be allowed to enter anyone else’s facility other than the Raiders, as it would be a clear conflict of interest. He’ll also have to be extra careful not to show any bias when calling games.

This is all assuming Brady stays with Fox in the future. Plenty of football geeks have speculated that Brady might leave Fox and work closely with the general manager when making football decisions. The Raiders have one of the most passionate fan bases in the league but have been struggling with success. Brady could ignite new energy into the entire organization. Having a legend like Brady on board will likely only help the Raiders in the future, though.
