Laurel St. James is a popular true crime podcaster that the Cases love to listen to. However, when she is about to reveal the identity of a serial killer, she is murdered in the recording studio! Who was she going to reveal to be this infamous killer?
Now, Birdie and Alden listen carefully to each of the podcaster’s clues as they piece together who the killer is. This includes some Salsa dancing, and perhaps more disguises. Recently, Paul Campbell spoke to the Hallmark Mysteries & More podcast about filming The Cases Of Mystery Lane: Death Is Listening. The Three Wise Men and A Baby writer and actor revealed that he could not stop laughing when doing a particular scene with Aurora Teagarden alum and director, Peter Benson.
It turns out that Peter plays “such a pathetic character.” However, it was his voice that made Paul crack up so many times that they had to redo the scene over and over again. Viewers will have to watch to see him try not to crack up through this scene.
