Hallmark Announces ‘The Cases Of Mystery Lane’ Starring Paul Campbell, Aimee Garcia
Hallmark Movies & Mysteries continues to ramp up production with the latest announcement that they are filming The Cases Of Mystery Lane. This is a new mystery starring Paul Campbell (Three Wise Men And A Baby, Dating The Delaneys), and Aimee Garcia (Lucifer, Christmas With You).

On Tuesday, Variety reported that Hallmark Movies & Mysteries has begun production on The Cases Of Mystery Lane. Paul Campbell and Aimee Garcia play “a married couple who find a new way to keep to keep the mystery alive…quite literally.”
Laura Gaines, Hallmark Media’s Director of Development gave some insights into the new series. “The Cases of Mystery Lane combines romance, humor, and intrigue, reminiscent of some of my favorite stories of amateur sleuths, in over their heads.”
Sounds like some of the classic couple mysteries including McMillan & Wife (Rock Hudson and Susan Saint James), and Hart To Hart (Robert Wagner and Stefanie Powers).
Gaines also revealed the characters’ charming names, and that the two leads have good chemistry. “Aimee Garcia and Paul Campbell have undeniable on-screen chemistry and we know that viewers will be rooting for our newest crime-solving duo, Birdie and Alden Case.”
More Details About The Cases Of Mystery Lane
In this new Signature Hallmark Mystery, Aimee Garcia portrays Birdie Case. Birdie is a successful attorney. Paul Campbell is Alden Case. He is described as “a smart and charming man with an inability to settle, causing a rift in their relationship.”
However, their relationship begins to heal most unexpectedly. Without telling Birdie, Alden signed up for classes to become a private investigator. However, when he does his homework assignment, he is suddenly “entangled in a murder investigation.”
Moreover, Birdie may know a few things to help him solve this murder. Now, he has to admit that he lied about his class. Subsequently, Alden thinks that Birdie has her own secrets. How does that affect their relationship?
Who Is Directing The Cases Of Mystery Lane?
Firstly, Joel Dovev (Bruce), and Margaux Froley (Let’s Get Physical, Secrets Of A Gold Digger Killer) wrote the script for Hallmark’s The Cases Of Mystery Lane. In addition, Mike Rohl (When Hope Calls, Wedding March 5: My Boyfriend’s Back) is directing.

Alison Sweeney Is Also Filming Hallmark Mystery
Hallmark has started to really ramp up mystery production. In addition to this fantastic news, The Cases Of Mystery Lane is not the only mystery that Hallmark is currently making. Currently, Alison Sweeney is filming a mystery. However, she cannot reveal what she is working on. Sweeney has already starred in two Hallmark Mystery series. They include Hannah Swensen, FKA Murder She Baked, and Chronicle Mysteries. Could she be filming one of these mysteries, or could she be starring in a completely new mystery?
