Zach Gilford Blasts ‘Below Deck’ Crew On Bravo

On Watch What Happens Live, Zach Gilford from Criminal Minds: Evolution and Friday Night Lights slammed the cast of Below Deck. He was joined by Real Housewives of Orange County star, Heather Dubrow. Of course, Andy Cohen was there for Bravo to throw out the questions.

Zach Gilford Was Not Kind To Below Deck

At the moment, Below Deck Med Season 9 airs. And as usual, there is conflict among the crew. Actually, a lot of energy goes into who is the top dog on the yacht. Sandy Yawn sits on the top of course, but there’s always infighting and drama between the rest of the crew. If they pour their negative energy into their jobs, The Criminal Minds star might agree they work hard.

As Real Housewives of Orange County star Heather Dubrow was also chatting with Andy Cohen, at least she could counter some of Zach Gilford’s negativity. Both she and Andy disagreed with his take on the Below Deck cast. Read on to find out what makes Zach criticize the Bravo crews.

The Slamming Of Below Deck Med

A lot of people come and go on the Below Deck shows, and each season of the various spinoffs brings someone new. Chief stews lost their jobs, deckhands, bosuns, and more. Even Captain Lee Rosbach wasn’t immune to that. Well, in the opinion of Zach, they are all way too lazy.

On Friday’s Watch What Happens Live Andy Cohen asked Zach Gilford, his opinion of Season 9 of Below Deck Med. He  claimed:

Their life is so easy and they are like, ‘It’s been 24 hours and I’m on a boat.” They are not working that hard. I used to lead backpacking trips in Alaska: 24 hours a day with kids. I didn’t get two days on and a day off. They are in the middle of paradise. Like just work. I will judge!

Andy Cohen didn’t seem to appreciate the Bravo show being criticized. So, he shot back by saying, “Well they are working very hard. They actually are.” And, Real Housewives star, Heather Dubrow also felt that it takes a lot of work to keep a yacht running smoothly. Perhaps she was thinking of Jill Zarin’s Below Deck cameo which made Fraser Olender tear his hair out. Plus, her behavior earned her a lot of criticism from viewers who watched the episodes on Bravo.
