Kayla Wallace’s Character Fiona Miller Was Missing In WCTH Season 11
At the beginning of WCTH Season 11, Hearties were disappointed that Fiona Miller was not back in Hope Valley. The actress Kayla Wallace was unable to film. That is because she had a conflict. She was scheduled to start filming the new Taylor Sheridan series Landman. Sheridan is the creator of the smash hit Yellowstone.
However, she managed to come back for Mei and Mike’s wedding. However, it was not assumed that the Hallmark series could get her. Showrunner Lindsay Sturman recently spoke to Official Hearties Admins about Kayla’s return.
After revealing that they didn’t know very far in advance that she was available, Sturman shared how a lot of things went the right way. “It was very touch and go and scheduling issues. Then, we got so lucky. We were so over the moon that she could come back.”
Will Kayla Wallace’s Character Fiona Miller Return To WCTH Season 12?
After sharing how they managed to get Kayla Wallace in the WCTH Season 11 finale, Lindsay Sturman was asked about the actress returning for Season 12. The showrunner cautioned, ” We have to wait and see.” She then crossed her fingers. “We are crossing our fingers.”
Therefore, there is no confirmation on Kayla Wallace for Season 12. This is pretty last minute as the next season starts production on Monday, July 15.
WCTH Creator Reveals Other Shows Want Kayla Wallace Now
WCTH creator Brian Bird reminded everyone that “In the meantime, other people want Kayla on their show now. We’re having to compete for these really cool people.” Thanks to Kayla’s high-profile role with a Taylor Sheridan series, her prospects for new roles have greatly increased.
Taylor Sheridan’s Series Landman Already Renewed For Season 2
Recently, Demi Moore, who also stars in Taylor Sheridan’s new series Landman, recently revealed that they will start filming Season 2 in early 2025. In addition, Season 1 will air on Paramount+ at the same time. Hearties can assume that Kayla Wallace will be back for the second season. But, will her obligations on that series keep her from returning to WCTH for Season 12?
