Theresa Nist cried with joy when Gerry Turner chose her as his winner in season 1 of The Golden Bachelor. However, she later lost her smile and looked sad after the couple announced their divorce. Plenty of people weighed in about it, and they worried about her. However, a new sighting of her in New Jersey showed her looking bright, breezy and happy.
Theresa Nist Was Devoted To Gerry Turner
All through the Golden Bachelor, and beyond the wedding, Gerry Turner’s winner seemed delirious with love for the man from Indiana. However, he broke her heart. Well, ABC fans assumed he did because they jointly announced that things didn’t work out and they wanted to stay closer to their respective families. However, it was Susan Noles who leaked that they split because of Theresa making a decision.
Theresa Nist allegedly decided that she wouldn’t move to Indiana, and Susan Noles hinted that she had agreed that she would relocate. She looked depressed after their divorce announcement. However, now, she seems to be getting back into the swing of things.

Some Golden Bachelor fans think it’s a pity that Gerry Turner made a mistake when he could have chosen Leslie Fhima. Possibly, he didn’t have a clue which one he really loved. Now, he’s lost both of them. Despite that, he’s been nominated for the People’s Choice Awards. It will be interesting to see if he wins anything.
Gerry Turner’s Ex Looks Fresh in Black & White
This week, the Mirror US News shared a post on X, formerly Twitter, and Gerry Turner’s ex wore a back and white checked summery dress. As she walked around in New Jersey, she smiled and looked fresh and breezy. At one stage, she talked on her phone and she seemed happy to hear from whoever was on the other end of the call.
Theresa Nist isn’t spending her days locked beyond closed curtains. ABC fans who felt embarrassed for her because the Golden Bachelor marriage lasted such a short time probably need not worry anymore. From the smile on her face as she walked fancy-free down the road, she seemed to have moved on. She looked pretty and her makeup seemed perfect.
