‘Alaskan Bush People’ Bear Brown Has Fans Scratching Heads
Alaskan Bush People star Bear Brown posted a new video on social media, which confused many of his fans. The video seems like a product placement, with Bear promoting something new. However, he never lists it as a promotion (which is required by law) and he appeared to be genuine. However, some fans noted that it all comes across as slightly fake.
Here is what Bear is promoting and what fans have said about it.
Bear Brown Loves His Dr. Pepper
The video on Instagram shows that it is from his TikTok account. However, when looking on TikTok, it is nowhere to be found. That is concerning because, if Bear is posting a promotional video, and getting paid for it without acknowledging it is a paid promotion, it could get banned. It is still on Instagram.
The video has Bear doing what he seems to love to do. He runs from the background and jumps into the main camera view before he starts talking. That seems to be “his thing” now, at least on TikTok. In this video, he leaps over a chair with a soda bottle on it.
The bottle is Coconut Dr. Pepper. In his caption, Bear asks: “Have you tried the new coconut Dr Pepper?” He then claims he loves Dr. Pepper products and wants to try it on camera for the fans. He opens the bottle and takes a drink. Then, Bear mentions the coconut is pretty heavy in flavor and smell. However, he also says he likes it.
In the end, Bear says he rates it at 7 out of 10 and tells people that if they love Dr. Pepper to give it a try. He also shows off the bottle more than once in the video. It seemed more like a commercial or promotional spot than an honest video and many fans commented on that.
Alaskan Bush People Fans Seem Confused About Bear Brown Video
There is no telling if this is an honest video of Bear Brown just wanting to try the soda on camera or if he was paid for it (and didn’t disclose it). The fact it was seemingly removed from TikTok makes it look like the latter.

Fans on Instagram seemed confused, to say the least.
- “Who even asked you to do this”
- “Did you get a sponsor from them or something?”
- “Great commercial”
Bear might just be making his time in Texas away from his family and home more bearable. He is down there with Raiven Brown as she prepares to give birth to their third son.
