‘Golden Bachelor’ Gerry Turner Gets Surprising Support
Gerry Turner made several mistakes on The Golden Bachelor, and one of them, ABC fans agree, was dumping Leslie Fhima in favor of Theresa Nist. The wedding seemed too rushed, and it turned out that it was, so fans slammed him for the divorce. But this week, he got some surprising support.
Gerry Turner Gets Surprising Support
Some people felt that it wasn’t all the fault of the Golden Bachelor that the marriage fell apart so quickly. After all, it takes two to tango. After the wedding, ABC fans waited for the announcement that the couple would move in together. It never happened. Instead, he spent a lot of his time in New Jersey where Theresa lived before the show.
While the show still aired, fans heard that Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist planned a move to Charleston, South Carolina. But then, that seemed to fade away. Some people expected that either he would move to New Jersey, or she would move to Indiana. Instead, they divorced, and rage ensued. But this week, he found some support from other Golden Bachelor cast members.
Theresa Nist Gets Shaded
This week, Kathy Swarts and Susan Noles, spoke about the divorce on SiriusXM’s The Jess Cagle Show. Interestingly, some fans speculated on why the divorce happened, and the two insiders seemed to know what went wrong. While the former Golden Bachelor takes a lot of heat, it seems that Theresa Nist didn’t commit to relocating as promised.
Gerry Turner, Susan Noles said:
I’ve gotta support this man a little bit [as he] got the wrong end of it. [Theresa] decided not to move and not to quit her job. Who can blame him?
Describing how it must have been frustrating for Gerry Turner, she shaded Theresa by adding, “I mean, I would’ve never said I would move to that place wherever that is in the middle of nowhere.”
Meanwhile, Kathy Swarts stopped short of shading either of them, simply writing it off as “sh-t” happening to two nice people. They get along with the former ABC couple, and they love them. So, perhaps that’s where Susan Noles found out that the reason Gerry Turner and Theresa split was because she allegedly made a commitment to relocate and then changed her mind.
