Could Kayla Wallace’s Fiona Miller Return To ‘WCTH’ For Season 12?
WCTH Season 12 will start production in early July. Could Kayla Wallace’s character Fiona Miller return to the Hallmark series? She had a conflict with another series. However, Demi Moore shared a recent update on that very series that could affect whether or not the Canadian actress could return to the series.

Why Was Kayla Wallace’s WCTH Character Missing From Season 11?
Since the beginning of WCTH Season 11, Hearties wondered what happened to Fiona Miller, portrayed by Kayla Wallace. From the beginning of the season, Mei Sou (Amanda Wong) was running the Hope Valley barber shop. But, it was in the fourth season that viewers learned that Fiona was away from the quaint town.
In the first episode, “When Stars Align,” Minnie Canfield (Natasha Burnett) reads a telegram to Dr. Faith Carter (Andrea Brooks) from Fiona. She is away with her sister because she is fighting for woman’s rights with the Suffragettes.
Erin Krakow Talks About Kayla Wallace Returning To WCTH
Erin Krakow spoke to TV Insider about Kayla Wallace’s absence from the Hallmark series. Erin, who is also a WCTH executive producer, shared this statement. “We love Kayla Wallace. We would love for her to be in every episode. Kayla had a really incredible opportunity on another TV series that films out of town. We’re excited for her.”
The other series that Erin is referring to is Taylor Sheridan’s new series, Landman. Sheridan is the co-creator of Yellowstone. It was not announced until early this year that she was in this new series. They filmed this series in Fort Worth Texas. It seems likely that it was originally supposed to be in production late last summer at the same time as When Calls The Heart. But, there was a strike, which delayed most series. WCTH got special permission to film. The different locations would have made it difficult for Kayla to do both projects. Therefore, she was not in Season 11.
But what about Season 12? When Calls The Heart production starts in Vancouver in early July. Will there be a conflict with Landman filming? We have the answer.
Landman Is Filming Season 2 Next Year
Recently, at the Cannes Film Festival, Demi Moore revealed that Landman Season 2 will be filming early in 2025. Season 1 has already completed filming. That means that these two series are not in conflict with each other.
Could this mean that Kayla Wallace could return to the Hallmark series? There is no current answer to that question. Kayla could have another role although there is nothing new listed. Moreover, Hearties may not get that answer until Season 12 premieres unless someone, including Kayla, shares a BTS photo on social media.
