‘WCTH’ Star Erin Krakow Shares Photo That May Hint Chris McNally Has New Role
WCTH star Erin Krakow is very active on social media. She seems to relish sharing some BTS scenes of the Hallmark series. In addition, she is very generous when it comes to sharing photos of her alongside her costars when they are out having fun.
However, in a new social media post that includes three Hallmark couples, there seems to be a hint that Chris McNally has a role that is likely not When Calls The Heart. Why would Hearties think this?
WCTH Star Erin Krakow Shares Photo That Hints Chris McNally Has New Acting Role
On Saturday, Erin Krakow went to Instagram to share a photo of three Hallmark couples. This photo includes her two WCTH beaus, Kevin McGarry, and his lovely fiancée Kayla Wallace, as well as Chris McNally, and his love Julie Gonzalo, as well as Erin’s love Ben Rosenbaum.
All three couples met their loves on a Hallmark set, with two on the set of When Calls The Heart. Chris and Julie met on the set of The Sweetest Heart, while the other two met on the Jamestown Movie set where they film the long-running series.
In this newly shared photo, the three couples are all smiling, with Kevin double-fisting some libations. Despite Kevin’s funny pose, it is Chris McNally’s lack of a beard that should garner the most attention. Granted, this was a #FBF post, it has been a very long time since Chris has been in a role beardless. Also, this photo may be #FBF but the photo could have been taken a week or even a month ago.
Nonetheless, his clean-shaven look certainly hints at a different role for the actor. He has been wearing a beard for When Calls The Heart. In his new movie, Tipline Mysteries: Dial 1 For Murder, Chris has longer hair and his usual beard. Currently, When Calls The Heart Season 11 is airing on Hallmark, and his character Lucas Bouchard still has a beard. Therefore, it does not seem unlikely that Chris has recently taken on a role that required no beard.
Could Chris be in a new movie or series? Right now, Hallmark has not announced anything. Currently, they are filming a lot of Fall and Countdown To Christmas movies. However, a quick look at IMDb shows that Chris is starring in an upcoming movie called A Safe Distance. This is an independent Canadian movie that was written by Aidan West, and directed by Gloria Mercer. According to Mercer’s Instagram, they were filming in May.
Since this movie is still in production, it may be a while until Chris McNally fans find out how to watch it.

When Calls The Heart Starts Production In July
Hopefully, Chris McNally’s beard grows fast because WCTH Season 12 starts production on July 8. The cast and crew will descend on the Jamestown Movie Set in the Vancouver area and film another season of the Hallmark series.
