‘General Hospital’ Actor Shot & Killed In Robbery Attempt
In an apparent robbery attempt gone wrong, a General Hospital actor was shot and killed in downtown Los Angeles on Saturday. The actor’s mother reported the news and the tragic demise of the soap opera star.

General Hospital Actor Killed In Robbery Attempt
The mother of Johnny Wactor, an actor who appeared in almost 200 episodes of General Hospital, announced that her son was murdered on Saturday morning in Los Angeles. The incident happened during an apparent attempted robbery attempt.
Scarlett Wactor told TMZ that Johnny was with one of his co-workers when they saw three men around Johnny’s car. They approached the men and it seemed they might have been trying to steal his catalytic converter. According to Scarlett, Johnny didn’t try to stop them or attack them, but one of them shot him anyway and ran.
The paramedics arrived at 3:00 a.m. PST and rushed Johnny to the hospital. There, the doctors pronounced him dead. There are no descriptions of the suspects yet, but Scarlett says she hopes the police find the men who killed her son quickly.
Who Is Johnny Wactor From General Hospital?
Jonny Wactor started his career as an actor in 2007 on the Lifetime TV show Army Wives. He appeared in three different episodes of that show (as three different characters). After working in a few shorts, he picked up a small role in the movie Snap Judgment before getting his first major role.
Johnny starred in the TV series Siberia. This was a series that follows contestants on a reality TV show who realize that things are not as they seem when they start dying, one by one. It aired on NBC in 2013. This role earned him some recognition, and he went on to have guest roles on Agent X, Animal Kingdom, Training Day, Criminal Minds, NCIS, The OA, Westworld, and Station 19.
He then picked up the General Hospital role in 2020 as Brando Corbin. He was on the daytime soap from January 30, 2020, to September 20, 2022. Johnny was the son of Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs). In his first appearance on the show, he showed up shockingly and saved Carly Corinthos from an ambush by Cyrus Renault’s men, but he was shot.
He survived and this started his run on the series, which lasted almost three years. Baron died on the show on his final appearance. On September 14, 2022, someone stabbed Brando with a hook and he ended up having a fatal seizure in the hospital. The Hook killer turned out to be Heather Webber (Alley Mills).
