Dancing With The Stars Season 33 is still several months away. But for now, many of the pro dancers, including Jenna Johnson, are thinking about their fall plans.

So what does Jenna have to say about her plans for Season 33?

Jenna Johnson Dishes On Her DWTS Season 33 Plans

The pro dancers don’t receive an invitation to return until late August. But if Jenna Johnson had her choice, would she return to the ballroom?

“I can’t confirm anything, but with my whole heart, I would love to be back,” Jenna excitedly told Us Weekly. “The show has been a dream come true for myself [and] my family. It’s really what I love to do.”

Without a doubt, the Dancing With The Stars dancers are close. But for Jenna, it really is a family affair. Her husband and reigning champion Val Chmerkovskiy is a core part of the show. Her sister-in-law Peta Murgatroyd has also been a pro dancer on the show for 13 years. Val’s brother Maks Chmerkovskiy also used to perform on the show and still cheers on his family members from home.

Jenna and her Season 32 partner Tyson Beckford didn’t go very far last year. But she sincerely hopes she can turn that around and go the distance this fall.

“I thrive on performing, I thrive on teaching,” the 30-year-old continued. “Nothing fulfills me more than on Monday nights when the countdown goes, ‘5, 4, 3, 2, 1,’ and you are live on air. There’s nothing like that feeling. So, I would love to be back. I’m so excited that they got picked up for a 33rd season.”

In another recent interview, Jenna confessed she would love to have Jason Kelce as her partner this year.

The Dancers Blend Family And The Ballroom During Competition Season

Many of the other pro dancers have put their DWTS plans on hold to focus on their families. Jenna loves being a mother, but couldn’t stay away from the ballroom. So, she and Val bring their baby son Rome with them to work. The little boy will be about 18 months old when Season 33 premieres.

“He did come to set many times. It’s so funny, I have all of these little videos of him sitting on the judges’ table or there was … a lunch break on show day and no one was in the ballroom, but like the lights were flashing, lasers were going,” Jenna shared. “We just like put him in the center of the stage to see what he would do and he just like started dancing and was loving it. I think we have a little performer on our hands.”
