Dancing With The Stars Motown Night has just wrapped up! It was a great night full of fun routines to nostalgic songs. But for one couple, it was their last dance in the ballroom. After tonight’s elimination, there are 11 couples left in the competition.

Who made it through to week four and who said goodbye at the end of the night?

Many DWTS contestants improved their technique

There were many fun surprises during Motown Night. Many Dancing With The Stars fans believed that reality star Ariana Madix would be a top contender. But not everyone expected her to improve so rapidly. She and her partner Pasha Pashkov tied for the top of the leaderboard with Jason Mraz and Daniella Karagach.

After a few hiccups last week, it seems that most couples found their stride ahead of Motown Night. Many of the low scorers managed to pull their numbers back up. Many viewers were particularly concerned about Mauricio Umansky’s performance this week after he forgot the steps during Latin Night.

Fortunately, he and Emma Slater managed to pull off a much better routine this week. But was it enough to keep them out of the bottom two?

Thanks to votes from fans, it certainly seems so. Although Mauricio and Emma are still a long way from the top of the leaderboard, it seems that they really did try their hardest. They stayed safe for another week.

At the end of Motown Night, Tyson Beckford and Jenna Johnson ended up in the bottom. This season, judges don’t vote to save couples. Scores are based on judges’ scores and audience votes alone. However, there wasn’t a bottom two tonight. For whatever reason, Tyson and Jenna were announced as the eliminated couple when there were three remaining pairs.

Ultimately, it seemed that Tyson and Jenna just couldn’t earn enough votes from fans to keep them in the competition. They left the show, leaving 11 couples remaining.

The top 11 move on to week four

Eliminations are always difficult for the cast, especially when they’re unexpected. Many viewers were surprised to see Jamie Lynn Spears and Alan Bersten leave after Latin Night.

Were you saddened to see Jenna Johnson and Tyson Beckford leave the competition? Who would you have chosen to send home instead? Don’t forget to share what you think in the comments.

Catch the next episode of Dancing With The Stars next Tuesday night at 8 PM Eastern time on ABC. It’s reportedly going to be “Disney 100 Night,” so the remaining couples will likely perform fun Disney-themed routines.
