Hallmark Christmas Queen Lacey Chabert is starring in the upcoming Netflix holiday movie Hot Frosty. Starring along with Lacey is Schitt’s Creek alum Dustin Milligan, The Office alum Craig Robinson, Joe Lo Truglio, Katy Mixon, Lauren Holly, and Chrishell Stuase. Also producing this series is long-time Hallmark collaborator Muse Entertainment, as well as Hallmark fan-favorite writer Russell Hainline writing the script.

Russell Hainline wrote the upcoming Netflix holiday movie Hot Frosty. Hainline is known for writing one of Hallmark’s top 2023 movies The Santa Summit, as well as the 2022 movie In Merry Measure. On Monday, he went to Twitter to share his excitement. That is because he has been talking about the idea of this holiday comedy for years.
For years, I’ve been pitching my friends “Hot Frosty” at parties. And it always got laughs. so I wrote it. And I loved writing it. and now, beyond my wildest dreams, it’s here. with an incredible cast and crew. I can’t wait for you all to see this.”
Like Lacey Chabert, this is not Russell’s only 2024 holiday movie. He also co-wrote the highly anticipated Hallmark sequel Three Wiser Men And A Boy along with Paul Campbell and Kimberley Sustad.
