Hallmark has created the dream Christmas team. Christmas Queen Lacey Chabert and Christmas King Kristoffer Polaha have been matched up for a new Countdown To Christmas movie called The Christmas Quest. This new Christmas romantic-adventure movie is the first time Kris and Lacey have been cast as love interests, but the second time they have been in the same movie together.
The Hallmark Channel is celebrating its 15-year anniversary of Countdown To Christmas this holiday season, and they just upped their stakes with this new announcement. What has the feel-good network revealed about this holiday release? Here are the first details released.

Christmas may not be for another 250-odd days, but the Hallmark Channel has already been busy filming for the holiday season. On Wednesday, TV Line reported that the network paired up Lacey Chabert and Kristoffer Polaha in the new “adventure-romance” The Christmas Quest.
Best of all, the pair just filmed on location in gorgeous Iceland. What is this movie about?
Lacey portrays an archeologist, while Kristoffer portrays her ex-husband, an Old Norse language expert. The two are reunited and “sent to Iceland at Christmastime to search for a legendary treasure.”
However, this pair is not the only people in search of this treasure. “When others join in the hunt, the pair find themselves swept into a thrilling adventure as they race to keep it from falling into the wrong hands.”

When Will The Christmas Quest Premiere?
Has Hallmark revealed when they will premiere The Christmas Quest? They have not. However, it seems likely that their movie together will air around Thanksgiving weekend. That guesstimate is based on last season’s schedule. Both Lacey’s A Merry Scottish Christmas and Kristoffer’s A Biltmore Christmas got top holiday billing, airing over Thanksgiving weekend.
However, Hallmark should release the official 2024 Countdown To Christmas schedule sometime during September.
